Chapter 2: Starting Junior High With A Bang

When he stepped to the deck of the newly decorated loft he smiled at his job well done. (Y/N) fist bumped the air, stripped of his shirt and pants, and then preceded to dive into the water below him. The sun had set and the pond looked beautiful under the moonlight. Floated there and thought about the new things in life. He had almost another month of school left here and he was enrolled to start next Monday. Today was Friday. He looked at the moon and got his body to relax. After about an hour he swam back into his room and dried off, changing into more comfortable clothes, and looking at Kaya and slowly starting to talk to her.

It was finally Monday. (Y/N) would be starting his first day of his new school. He had about 28 days until the school years ends and he has to apply for a high school. He dressed in his uniform and tied his hair back. He didn't want the hair tie to snap but he needed his hair out of his face for the day. One strand by the side of his face wouldn't go into the ponytail because it was shorter than the rest of his hair. This was from when he tried to cut his hair when his quirk was developing. They had to immediately stop as soon as the strand due to the amount of pain the boy was in. It took almost five years for the strand of hair to finally reach his shoulders due to the stinger's tissue being damaged. He finished getting ready for school and walked to the kitchen. (Y/N) grabbed bread and decided to make toast. He grabbed a jar of jelly from the fridge as his older sister walked up behind him. "If jelly was made from Jellyfish, would that be considered cannibalism?" She asked with a smirk and a laugh. The boy stood still and thought about it, slowly putting the jelly back and grabbing cream cheese instead. "Stop. I will make you into calamari." (Y/N) said harshly and glared at his sister who just laughed her ass off and went to looking through the fridge for food. He grabbed his toast and spread the cream cheese on it, placing it in his mouth and reaching over his sister so he could put the container back in the fridge. He looked around the kitchen as he leaned on the counter. He saw a not and picked it up. It was from his parents. 

'(Y/N), have an amazing day at school. Lula, don't antagonize anyone you meet. Your father and I went out to see what kind of work we could find. We love you.'

That was what the note said. Once the boy finished his toast handed the note to his sister and head to the front door. He slipped on his shoose and started to walk. "Hey! Don't you want a ride?" Lula called from the door way, waving her hand. "No. I'm taking the bus! Don't burn down the house while I'm gone!" (Y/N) said loud enough for his older sister to hear. He made hislong walk to town, bag onhis back, ear buds in his ear as he made his way down the hill that lead to the main road that held the bus he would be taking. He kept his ear buds shoved in his ears as he walkeed to the bus stop. It took about 15 minutes and he just barely made it in time to catch the bus. Now, he had to wait about two hours to get to the school he would be attending. He kept scrolling through songs until he found one that he liked. The bus began to get crowded as it started moving slowly to town. Once the stop had reached the school he was attending he got off the bus, five minutes after the late bell rang. He slowly got off the bus with a yawn and walked on to the school grounds. He toyed with the loose strand of hair as he pressed the button to get into the building, being lead to his class room. The teacher stood at the front of the room, trying to calm down the over the top class. (Y/N) sighed and took his earbuds, walking over to the teacher. He tapped his shoulder and handed him a late pass. "Alright! Our new transfer student has arrived!" The teacher yelled, calming the students down some. He told (Y/N) to introduce himself. "I'm (L/N) (Y/N). I'm from America. Don't talk to me. I don't want to be your friend." He said and made his way to an empty desk, shoving his earbuds back into his ears as the morning slowly started. When half the day was over and lunch started a boy with green hair came over to him with a wide smile. 'He look like kid from my dream...'  (Y/N) thought as he slowly took his earbuds out of his ears. "Yes?" He asked and turned to the boy. "O-oh! My name's Midoriya Izuku! It's nice to meet you." He said rather startled and shyly. "Ditto. Did you need something?" He asked Midoriya. "Um, I was wondering what your quirk was... You didn't say it when you introduced yourself." He said with a shy smile. "... I have a jellyfish mutation.. My hair has stingers on the end and I partly become a jellyfish in the water." The boy murmer and took his hair out of the ponytail. "What about you?" He asked. "A-ah... I don't have one." He said quietly. (Y/N) nodded. "Neat." (Y/N) said, cracking a small smile until a very loud blond came over to Midoriya. "Trying to make friends with the new kid, huh Deku?" He asked loudly with a smirk. The boy who was still sitting down glared at the blond. The boy who he learned was named Bakugo yelled at Midorya who was currently shrinking back. The shorter male slowly got out of his seat and stepped in the middle of the two boys. "Do you mind? I was having a conversation." He said as the stingers on his hair moved around in antisipation. Before Bakugo could speak he took Midoriya  by the hand and pulled him out of the classroom and outside. The boy in question was fuming as one of (Y/N)'s stingers acter on its own and struck the fier alarm by accident. This caused a mass panic and everyone was evacuated to a safer spot so the building could be checked out. That day, school ended earily. 'Well fuck. I'm not surving here for 28 days... No way in hell.'  (Y/N) thought as he made his way to the bus stop where he would have to wait a good hour to catch the bus. He placed the earbuds back in his ears with a sigh and placed his hair back into a ponytail. All he wanted right now was to sink into the pond and nver surface for the rest of the day.
