Brave Frontier: Crystina's Diary

A.N. - Hi! This is my first story and I can't wait to start it! Anyway, Crystina is my Brave Frontier name and I just wanted to tell you about my feelings as a 'summoner in Grand Gaia'. Anyway, this will obviously be in Crystina's P.O.V., and I might consider adding my other friends in there. If you want to be my friend, add me: 3353041761, and I will add you in the story, but if it's a strange name, then I might modify it so it will sound at least similar to your real name. I loved Grand Gaia. It was all peaceful. Well, at least most of it. See, most of Grand Gaia is being controlled by what is known as the Four Fallen Gods. One of them took complete control over St. Lamia. It was absolutely horrible. His name was Maxwell. The God of the Gate, Lucius, chose a number of summoners to summon units who once fought against the gods, and are either dead already, and can be summoned as 'units' or 'spirits', or they just come from another world. I was super happy when I was one of the very few in fact chosen summoners by Lord Lucius! I felt like jumping with joy.

Lord Lucius, one night, came to me in my dreams and stated to choose my first unit. I was completely clueless as to 'choose my first unit.' I was given the choices: Vargas (Fire), Selena (Water), Lance (Earth), and Eze (Thunder). Apparently I was told that there were two more (what the freaking heck!? That's just dumb! Stupid!), but they were only obtainable from this thing called Honor Summon. Lord Lucius told me that one of the goddesses would help me become a skilled summoner.

It was the early morning. I got this weird dream where this greenish glowing light blinded my eyes 100% so I couldn't see most of it. Anyhow, as I was walking, I ended up in the prairie, and as I kept walking, I bumped into a girl. She had naturally colored blue with tints of purple at the end. Gosh, that was totally unnatural. For heaven's sake, that was just the weirdest thing that could happen in the whole entire universe, dimension, world, whatever the freaking heck you want to call it! She had a fancy headdress with green bows on the sides. She had light skin tone, and crystalline blue eyes. Her eyes, I swear to anybody, could attract any guy in 1 over 999,999,999 of a second. She wore a dress consisting of vivid colors blinding to the human eye. She looked at me and spoke in a slightly high-pitched voice, "hello, you must be a Summoner."

I nodded in response, unable to speak due to her incredibly fancy looks.

She kept speaking without letting me reply, "My name is Tilith, a goddess." She observed me with her eyes intent, scanning me up and down. "I have been assigned as your guide as a chosen Summoner of Grand Gaia. You must be Crystina, am I wrong?"

Still staring at her in awe, I managed to choke out the reply, "er...no, you're not wrong."

Soon after I finished speaking, there was a slime racing toward us. I just stared at it, while Tilith screamed like a maniac (no offense), "Eww!!! Get that slimy thing away of my beautiful body!!" What the heck? 'Beautiful body'? That was weird, but I still kept staring at it, not knowing what to do.

Tilith looked at me frantically and she looked pissed off and yelled at me. "You're a Summoner, and are you showing me you can't even summon units!?"

I flinched slightly, but kept my position. I didn't say anything due to my shame, and shook my head.

Tilith calmed down and sighed while explaining: "Put your hands out and concentrate, you should be able to summon some units to battle."

I did as I was told and put my hands out, and concentrated hard. Finally in front of me, there were three silver glows that looked like magic circles with those strange patterns. And then came out the units. Two of them were slimes; one was a Sparky, the other a Burny. I chose Selena as my partner, and I summoned her as well. Tilith looked at Selena in shock. "Wait...Selena...? How did you...oh wait, now's not the time to be asking such questions." She pointed at the slime, which happened to be a Mossy, and said, "those are your units, so tell them what to do."

I took a deep breath as I shouted, "attack the Mossy!" All three reacted quickly to my little order of attacking, especially Selena.

Selena slashed with her bluish sword at the Mossy, it seemed to bring that thing massive damage. The Burny and Sparky finished that Mossy off good. The Mossy, disappeared in a swirl of white glowing dust. After this, those glowing dust seemed to form into one, so it looked like a ball of light. It went over to me, and Selena spoke for once. She spoke calmly with calm eyes as she spoke: "You ended up capturing that Mossy." She looked at me, and continued, "That slime will not be very useful when you do a number of rare summons."

I looked at Tilith for an explanation of 'rare summon.' Tilith indeed explained it to me as my guide: "You see, rare summon is where you pay 5 gems - which is a very rare thing in Grand Gaia. A thing worth saving - and you can summon units that are especially stronger than most of the units captured from places like this." She looked over west, and saw the sun setting, staining the sky with orange, pink, purple, and red. "You should get some rest, for tomorrow will be a long day."

It was early in the morning, when there was a knock on my door. I stretched my arms, still in my pajamas. I put on my slippers, and went to the door to open, only to find Karl, a good friend of mine. Karl came in and whispered, "if you're a Summoner, you can't stick with a bunch of slimes." I looked at him in confusion, so he continued, "I will give you a little gift as a Summoner: 5 gems." Instantly, one thing popped into my head: Rare Summon. He explained, "if you head south from here, you should be able to go into the Imperial Capital Randall. Inside there, there will be a hall for summoning. Go inside that hall, and there will be a person waiting there. Give him or her these 5 gems to summon once, and get yourself a powerful unit." He said as he left without saying another word. I went over to my bag and set it in there.

In the morning, I announced to Selena, "We're going to the Imperial Capital Randall to do a rare summon."

"You have 5 gems already?" She asked in surprise, to which I nodded.

"Karl gave 5 gems to me as a gift, saying I should get myself a strong unit."

"Well, that's true." Selena conceded.

At the Imperial Capital Randall: Summoning Building

A girl with blonde hair pulled into a ponytail and blue eyes greeted me: "Welcome to the Summoners Building. We hope you have our notice that we increased the chance of getting Kikuri, Lancia, Mega, and Alice from the Rare Summon Gate, and Jewel and Metal units are obtainable now in Honor Summon."

I handed her the 5 gems. She counted them, looked up and asked, "Summon 1 time?"

"Yes."

She nodded as she inserted them into a bucket, and a big gold door opened. She called, "Just summon the way you usually do."

I nodded and put my hands up and concentrated as a gold magic circle appeared before me, and a figure appeared, and looked around until she found me and asked, quietly and a little menacing, "who are you? Must I still fight? I guess I have no choice. I'll fight for you."
