"How was work, babe?" Tyler looks up from his laptop as Craig enters the house, hanging the lanyard with his keys on a hook they had by the door. "You look exhausted." He commented as his fiancé fell onto the couch next to him, snuggling into his side.

"I am." Craig mumbled against Tyler's arm as he continued to type away at his laptop. "Are you working on an assignment?"

"Yeah, I have a couple of essays due on Friday, figured I should get a head start on them." Tyler rests his head on top of Craig's. "One for history, one for English. They're pretty easy, and I'm almost done so we can go to bed." He continues to type, comforted that the demon had made a safe return home. "So, tell me about your day. What's got you so exhausted?"

The demon shifted against the human's side so that instead of having his head buried into his arm the two were side by side. As he shifted into a new position, Tyler moved his head and scooted to his left a few inches to give him room. "I had a lot of customers that bought bigger items like furniture and stuff, so I had to help them move it. Since I'm the strongest of everyone who was working today, damnit Tina." Tyler let out a chuckle at that, shaking his head and muttering 'fucking Tina' beneath his breath. "Something weird happened today though, kinda got me thinking."

Tyler closed his laptop, placing it on the coffee table so he can pay attention to his fiancé. "What was it?" He asks, turning to Craig with interest and curiosity. "What weird thing happened at your boring ass job at the antique store?"

"This one customer, he- I could've swore he looked like Scott, but, just-"

"Scott? Really? Maybe it was his brother or something, Evan had said he had one of those, right?" Tyler cut Craig off, trying to avoid the possibility of Scott being alive. After all that had happened, the last thing the group would need is another resurrection of someone close to them. "Besides, wouldn't Smitty tell us about something like that? He was Scott's best friend-"

"I was Evan's best friend, yet he didn't go to me first-Anyway, I know that it's impossible for him to be alive, I was probably just imagining things, right?" Craig leans into Tyler, closing his eyes and letting out a sigh.

"Yeah, that's probably it, Craig. Tell you what, I can just finish this tomorrow. Let's just go to bed, okay?" Craig nods against him as Tyler nudges him. "Get up, you know I'm not strong enough to carry you."

"Let's just sleep here, it's comfy and nice, babe, I don't want to get up." Craig mumbles sleepily, his arms draped around Tyler's body. "Let's just sleep, Tyler. It's our house anyway."

After a few moments, Tyler sighs, leaning back and wrapping his arms around Craig. "Fine, but you're not allowed to complain about this in the morning."

------------

The metallic purple Mercedes sped down the highway, the convertible top down as the wind played with the driver's hair. A smile tugged at his lips as the radio blasted, a string of resin charms dangled off the key ring as it hung off the ignition. He leaned back into the black leather seats and lazily used one hand to steer.

It wasn't his, the car that is, but he had seen it in the parking lot of a bar as he roamed the dark streets of the city. A girl had been just getting out of it as he walked past, and he had taken one look at the car and knew it would be his ride for the night. The demon disappeared into dead space, reappearing near the girl as she passed a shadowy corner as she fiddled with her keys. He bumped into her, apologizing profusely so she wouldn't realize she had dropped her keys. She didn't notice as she continued into the bar. Meanwhile, Scott had left with the car.

He had completed all his jobs for the week, the head of a guardian angel, the blood of the head of the meanest gang in Los Angeles, and three demons who had stepped out of line. Perfect execution of these jobs left him with a full bank account and a week's vacation, leaving him completely off the radar and allowing other bounty hunters to take on a few jobs in his place. All Scott had to do now was make it to the next town and get rid of the car, once a car is stolen it's reported fairly quickly. He thought back to the state the girl had been in and figured he still had about an hour with the car before authorities would begin to look for it.

Headlights flash at a green sign, telling him that the next town was only thirty-two miles away, and right off the bat he knew that it was a large city, he recognized the name and knew that there was a portal to Hell located there. If things went south, he could always go back home and relax there. For now, he speeded into the night.

Laughter escaped his lips as he admired the quiet highway, only a few cars roamed it at this late hour. His hair is tousled by the wind as the speed of the car increases with every passing second, wind roaring in his ears as the music collides with the open air.

"I-I had a really great time tonight, Jon." Mason smiles widely as Jonathan walks him to his car, pushing his glasses up the bridge of the bridge of his nose with one hand. The other was intertwined with Jonathan's, his head aimed down as they walked. "I know it w-was just a movie, but it was nice, I enjoyed spending my time with you."

"Don't forget about that dinner, that was nice too." Jonathan agrees with the boy as they grow closer to his car, he's almost disappointed to know the date is over. It's the tenth one he's been on since Evan passed away, he was getting over it. He had to move on eventually.

Beside him, Mason sighs happily. "You're right, it was nice. We should do this again." Their hands unlock as they reach Mason's car, the red paint looking gray in the moonlight. The two boys stood side by side next to the driver's side door. Mason awkwardly scratches the back of his neck. "Well, I guess this is goodbye then. Only for now, though." He smiles. "I feel like this," he gestures between the two of them, "could really work, you know?"

Jonathan nods, scared to say something that might ruin the good thing he had going for him. "Yeah, I think that too." Their eyes lock onto each other for a second before Jonathan looks away. "Guess I'll see you around then, huh?" Mason just smiles as he opens the door.

"Definitely."
