Chapter 1

              High School is a bitch. It's filled with all the people you hate and all the memories of all the shitty challenges you've gone through. Well hell if I knew that id be attacked by my worst fears in this place.

               Time was flying by and I was already in my fifth period class....Geometry. It wasn't that bad, but in the class was my ex and her new boyfriend. Boy did she love rubbing that in my face. My friend Kirstin was sitting next to me as Mr. Crone droned on and on. She saw the look of irritation on my face and whispered to me that it was ok. I groaned. I just wanted to go home and sleep. That's all that I had left nowadays. Sleep and my nightmares.
                 Crash! We all heard it. That loud noise in the hallway. Kirstin and I both exchanged looks of concern. Mine was a look of oh shit and hers was a stop cursing with your eyes.
                 Mr.Crone told us all to stay in our seats and ran into the hallway. Only one problem. I'm no good at doing what my teacher tells me to do. I ran to the door and looked out to no avail. Looking back at my best friend in class - this lanky boy with dark hair and striking blue eyes, Matt - I told him to follow me.
                   " Are you insane!?" He whispered to me as he came up behind me.
                    I turned around and looked down at him. Now Matt is a good 6' tall but I still towered over him at 6'5". " Look, whatever that crash was, it wasn't some normal fight. That was a door being broken down and I intend to find out did it. "  I turned my back on him and walked out with him and Kirstin following close behind.
                     All the kids in the class had their eyes on me as I stormed out, even my ex. I didn't know she eas following until a couple minutes later when I stopped to look around one of the corners. I looked back at Matt and Kirstin when I saw her, Kim.
                       " What the hell are you doing here? " I said pointing at her. " I only wanted them to follow me. "
                        " I didn't come here for you, I'm just as curious as you are to find out what this thing is. So shut the hell up and deal with it!"
                         I hated it when she talked like that, because damn it, it was still indearing. I turned around the corner and jogged down the hall towards the crash.
                          Bang! Crash! More sounds echoed through the hallway and we ran towards them. Geting increasingly nervous I didn't know what to expect when I rounded that ginal corner. Over the body of Mr.Crone, sat an eight eyed giant creature. With all my breath I yelled.
                           "  Giant spider! "
