(This chapters song relates to Crimsons feelings with Piper after this argument)

" I WANT A BETTER LIFE FOR US CRIMSON! FORGET FIGHTING IN THIS STUPID WAR AND COME JOIN ME! WE CAN WIN THIS!" It was Piper yelling at Crimson.

" THAT'S NOT WHAT I WANT! WHY CAN'T WE BE HAPPY JUST THE WAY WE ARE, FOR ONCE?! I'M NOT GOING TO JOIN YOU!" Crimson snapped.

" THEN WHY DON'T YOU JUST LEAVE?" Piper hissed.

Crimson faltered. " Fine then. I'll leave."

Crimson walked over to the window and looked back at Piper. " ..Farewell Mistress.."

Crimson then jumped out of the window and ran off. Leaving Piper behind.

I woke up in the same bedroom as the night before. It was another dream of Crimson and Piper. They were much older than the last one. Closer to what Crimson looks like now. A more recent memory.

I sat up and rubbed my eyes, they still felt foggy. It was a feeling I was getting familiar with all these dreams.

My stomach grumbled, it was a good thing that after yesterday's event, I had gone to go find food. Thankfully Crimson, showed me there was a forest nearby. I had collected several fruits, so those would last me awhile.

I walked out of the dusty bedroom. Looking around, not really paying attention to what I was looking at, but more to the dream. I should really ask Crimson about Piper. But should I really....? He'll probably ask me why I know about her.

It's worth a shot. I really want to know what I'm missing, or even what I'm seeing is real. Who knows? Crimson could just be feeding information to me in hopes that I'll believe him.

And what kind of ghost just goes off in a castle with one person in it. What on earth does he do when he's not storytelling? It's not like he can touch anything.

I kept wandering till I almost past a flight of stairs, I didn't think much of it till I heard something coming from them.

" Farewell Mistress..."

Wait a diddly darn second.

I turned around and went back to the stairs. I didn't hear anything else but I was curious, so I went up the stairs.

When I reached the top, Crimson stood there, just floating. Watching something in front of him. A small scale illusion.

It was hard to tell from where I was standing, but I spotted the red blur of hair that Piper had.

I couldn't make out what was going on and I could barely hear the conversation, it was a heated argument from what I could tell. Then I heard a slap.

I gasped.

That's when Crimson's head snapped toward me and I was caught. I was thrown to the wall of the stairwell, my body held up by magic. My skin prickled with small sharp pains.

Crimson's eye reflect only a danger that made me wish I had stayed downstairs. Then I collapsed to the floor.

"You're not supposed to be up here."

My wrist still ached with the impact of landing on them, but I got up anyway. "I didn't get the memo." I hissed.

Crimson eyes met mine, green eyes holding darkness and grim.

Never in my life, I thought, green eyes would look as threatening as they did right now.

Genetics cause green eyes to be most common, so people often don't think much of them and look for the rare brown eyes. Every pair of green eyes I've seen had happiness behind them, but these were cold.
