(This song reminds me of Piper)

That didn't sound all too positive.

What is Crimson going to do to Phyris?

These were the thoughts that ran through my mind when Crimson walked in front of me. To the next part of the story.

Then he stopped in front of a large door. The doors opened and there stood the once small boy with a head of black hair. He was older. Brown eyes staring at the table in front of him.

An illusion of Crimson formed, this time his hair was placed over his eye. Phyris then spotted Crimson.

"Ah! Crimson, perfect timing. What do you think of the plan?"

There on the table was a miniature sculpture of the castle. Little marks on different places for things I had no idea for.

"It looks like it would work, but maybe a suggestion. The third battalion would be off better on section six of the battle field. The dragon shifters would have less land for the Shadows to hide behind." Crimson smiled a little at his own plan.

Phyris pondered this for a moment and nodded. "That's a great idea! I'm looking forward to you being my second in command."

Phyris smiled at Crimson, Crimson didn't return it.

"As am I."

The image of Phyris sort of flashed, and he had a stream of blood coming from his mouth, then it was gone.

Phyris laughed. "Why so serious Crimson? Lighten up a bit," he placed a hand on Crimson's back, a touch which he recoiled at. "We have a life to live don't we?"

Crimson smiled grimly. "We sure do."

The image faded and the room became empty. The sound of swords clashed outside. It was the final battle. Something told me it wasn't going to end well.

I ran out the room and to the nearest window. It was chaos.

It was hard to focus on one thing. There were arrows flying in the air, swords clashing, dragons flying, claws meeting flesh, it was total chaos.

I ran along the windows watching the war going on. An illusion this big would've caused death immediately, but Crimson was already dead so it didn't effect him.

I pushed open the large gates up front and rushed outside.

I walked into the middle of the battle, figures passing by and going through me. I was in the battle but I never fought in it. What a weird thing to say.

That's when everyone turned their heads at the upcoming battalion.

I looked to where they all were and I saw Piper.

"I don't want to associate in this war, Crimson. The day I do is the day I die."

She was here, right in front of everyone, clad in barely any armor.

An illusion of Crimson appeared next to me, blood on him that wasn't his own. He stared at Piper, looking like he was thinking the same thing

Piper scanned across the battle field and met Crimson's eyes with her piercing blue ones. She smirked and says one word.

"Attack."

All the Shadows rushed forward and attacked. Piper disappeared into the crowd almost instantly.

I turn my focus to Crimson and he wasn't fighting anymore. His head whipped around frantically, looking for something.
