Chapter 13.
.Niall’s POV.
The three weeks slowly slipped away just like that and tonight was our last concert in New York. I invited the girls and was prepared asked them to come along on tour with us. Rose was already staying with us because Harry practically begged management, so since Harry had rose come along on tour we wanted to know if the other girls could come along as well. Alex is going to be our fashion designer for who knows how long because our first one was pregnant and preferred to be at home. So Rose and Alex were already checked in and ready to go, as far as Sarah and Shelbee it may be a little tougher for them to come along because they have school, but it was worth a try to ask.
We were at sound check and the girls were to show up any minute. Sarah and I had that most definitely gotten a lot closer. We hung out by ourselves a couple of times, for example my favorite adventure was when we went to a little aquarium. I will never forget the horrified look on her face when she saw huge great white shark come up to the glass. She practically jumped 3 feet into the air and into my arms. She nuzzled her face into my neck and I held my arms around her so the shark which was only 3 feet away, wouldn’t touch her, as she would’ve thought. We traveled around the aquarium all day, we saw penguins, fish, crabs, and even octopuses. I have a picture of her on my phone where she was kissing an octopus between the glass and one of its tentacles. She looked so pretty, she wore a pair of white shorts with a pink tank top and her hair was in a ponytail with loose strands hanging out. She was being completely nothing but herself, we laughed and giggled at every chance we had. In fact the picture was my screensaver currently. Everything about her, her smile, her lips, her voice, her laugh, and in just every little thing in general. She can bring a smile to anyone’s face by just being in or near her presence.
Liam and Shelbee also have been texting a lot, but I don’t really know much about them because they like to keep everything a secret for who knows why. Rose and Harry flirt all the time, but I don’t think she is all that interested in him no matter how hard he tries. Just then the girls Alex ,Rose, Shelbee, and Sarah walked in and greeted us. I walked up to Sarah and hugged her tight along with a kiss on the cheek.
“hey! Sounds good as far as I’ve heard!” She told me intertwining my fingers with hers.
“why, thank you babe” I pulled her into in another ‘Horan’ hug.
“the boys and I have something to ask you girls when we finish sound check” I said
“if it is Alex going with you guys on tour then, she already beat you to it. She has already been talking about it every minute for the past couple of days.” She rolled her eyes.
“no no, it’s mainly for you and Shell” I corrected her.
“oh! Well in that case, I’m excited!” She lit up with a smile.
“Boys get back here we have four more songs to get through, at the rate you will never get finished, come on!” Paul instructed us.
I unwillingly untangled my fingers from Sarahs and said
“be back soon.”
“All right!”
She went to Shelbee who was sitting in the third row from the stage.
Sarah and I have been really close lately but it’s not official. Even though I would love to change that, I felt the time wasn’t right. I always want to spend my time with her, no matter what the consequence, we always smile and laugh at anything together, and she is just utterly incredible in every way. Even when we were kids, we would get teased about liking each other, I wonder if that means anything? Only fate knows. Sadly I haven’t kissed her since that one amazing night, I wanted to so badly but I didn’t want to ruin any of the moments we’ve had together. The time just wasn’t right, and possibly I could’ve been a chicken. I hate to say it, but it’s sadly true.
