Albert Wesker

Claire's POV

"Claire?" Came Chris's voice from the receiver's end and I sat on the sofa, placing a potato chip to my mouth. He sounded as though I woke him from sleep but he did tell me to call him so I didn't feel bad for waking him.

He got the call he asked for.

"It is I" I stated as I chewed, a smile on my face and my brother made a tiring groan. So I did wake him afterall.

"How are you settling in?" Chris asked before giving a slight yawn. Didn't he know yawning was contagious?

I yawned too, hearing bones in my arms crack as I stressed slightly.

"Well apart from your friend creeping me out a bit I'm actually fine, he has a nice taste in houses. Besides the black everywhere that is" I told Chris and he gave a slight chuckle.

I listened to the shower running, as soon as we got here Leon went for a shower and in order to kill time I called my brother until Leon was ready to get out. He had been in there for fifteen minutes now, if this went on for half hour I would have no choice but to tell Chris that his friend had drowned.

"Well Leon can be intimidating at times Claire but you will get use to it eventually. He just has a serious nature, I'm yet to see him smile" Chris told me, me laughing slightly.

The shower went off and I pulled the phone closer to my ear. "Well I've gotta go, catch you later Chris" I told Chris.

"Catch you later Claire" he replied and when there was no more talking I hung up.

*****

As soon as I turned off the lights and I was about to make my way to bed the door bell rang. I yawned.

"I'm coming" I yelled as I didn't bother to turn the lights on, simply going over to the door.

My eyes met dark glasses and before I could air my suspicion a hand covered my mouth. I tried fighting but he was too strong, the phone in my hand vibrating.

The intruder took the phone, answering. "Well hello Redfield..." He stated and when I heard my brother I relized he had placed the call on speaker.

"Wesker! Claire???, what the hell did you do to her!" And the man took his hand from my mouth, his arm circling my throat.

I choked...

"She's here Redfield but if you want to ever see her alive you have three months to find me" Wesker stated and I screamed.

"Chris!I'm so sorry, this is my fault!" I cried, I should have never left.

"I will get you Claire, no matter how long it takes I will find you. Nothing will..." And Wesker cut the call, turning my entire world black with one injection.

*****

I woke up in a car, me lying on the back seat as I stared at the window above me, my body jerking due to the car's movement.

"Awake I see" came a familar voice and I looked to see the man seated across from me. I sat up slowly, my palm pressed to the leather seat of the car.

"Who are you and what do you want with me?" I hissed and he stared at me for a moment before speaking.

"Let's just say I'm a ghost coming back to haunt your dear brother" he began , a smirk forming on his lips.

"And pretty soon miss Redfield...I will haunt you too..." He continued, my head feeling dizzy all of a sudden.

"I will kill you surely but but slowly and eventually you will beg me to...I'm the only cure you have and soon you'll realize it..." he told me as the car came to a stop, him taking my limp frame from the car bridal style.

A plane came into veiw, landing in the cleared distance of the forrest and that's when the lid of my eyes came down. The drugs he gave me kicking in once more...

I woke from the nightmare immediately, my hands fisting my hair as I sat up. I was sweating everywhere, my pillow soaked in my sweat and tears.

Even in my dreams this man would anoy the shit out of me. Hadn't he done enough?

I growled, I had escaped physically but he did a great job holding my mind captive by fucking it up. I felt like child just learning how to speak, everything came in bits and pieces leaving me to figure on these bits and pieces.

Grabbing the lamp next to me I tossed it to the wall, my chest rising and falling as the baby in the crib began crying. The lamp had made a ruckus as it shattered into a million peices, the room going dark.

My grip on my hair tightened only for the dark room to become bright with the flip of a switch.Leon had his gun raised as he looked around the room for the cause of the screaming only find nothing.

He relaxed, placing the gun to his hip and I took my hand from my hair. I didn't need to look any crazier than I already seemed.

"It's just a nightmare" I told him and his eyes fell on the shattered lamp while I stood.

"A serious one based on what I'm seeing here" he added and I took the crying child from the crib, rocking him slowly as I kissed his hair.

"I'll be fine, I'm so sorry to wake you and for trashing your lamp" I told him as I stared down at the baby in my arms. Looking into his eyes gave me familarity.

I looked at Leon who was gathering the peices of the shattered lamp. Leon wore those very same gray eyes.

He lied...he was the father of the child. The reason for him lying? I had no idea but deep down I knew he had a reason to.

I closed my eyes trying to remember Leon. Nothing came...it was though he was the part of my memory that was left completely blank.

"Claire?" I looked down at Leon who stared up at me with great amount of concern in his eyes. The way he called my name with so much familiarity lead me to think on my theory even more.

What if he was lied and we had met before? He was the father of this child and I was and idiot not to see it before.

The baby was reaching for him in this very moment. Another reason added onto my list.

"I think he wants you to hold him" I stated and he stood, taking the child from my hands as he stared at me. The child went silent and I came closer, staring up at Leon.

"Something went on between us leon, didn't it?" I asked and it was as though my question took him off gaurd, his pupils dilating for a moment.

He kept silent and I kept my blue eyes fixed to his gray ones. Yes...I was indeed correct.

"Why can't I remember you? Why is it I remember everyone I come in contact with but you?" I asked as he handed the silent child to me, his gaze everywhere but me.

"Somethings are meant to forgotten Claire" he stated and I placed the sleeping child into his crib, facing Leon again.

"You are aware what went on between Wesker and I. If you walked out on me like you told me in the car, why had you come back for me if I was someone you should forget?" I asked and his eyes met mine.

He could not give me an answer...

Seems Leon has a lot of work to do guys 😊😊😊 Will be be successful in helping Claire regaing her broken memories.
