"So this foolish red circle cult of yours is no more?" You lean up against your locker, and sternly ask your boyfriend, Archie.
"Of course babe, I've told you a million times. That was a thing of the past." He runs his fingers through his hair, and runs his hands up and down the sides of your arms.
You nod and sigh, "Okay."
"It's just I don't want you becoming a target. With the black hood loose and all."
"It's under control."
He kisses your forehead.
"Promise me Archie. That, you'll end it."
You plead.
He looks you in the eyes, "I promise."
"Alright." You smile and lean in for a kiss, your lips softly brushing against his.

You knock on Archie's door and his dad answers.
"Hey, Mr. Andrews I'm here for Arch."
He nods and gestures toward the basement.
"Should be in there with a couple guys from the football team."
He lets you know.
Strange he didn't mention anything like that at school.
"Thanks." You smile at his father before heading down to the basement.
You slowly walk down the stairs, but stop when you see Archie pass around red hoods to Reggie and the rest of the football team.
Wow.
You stay put for a couple minutes.
"We're called the 'Red Circle'. And we're coming for you." Archie speaks to a camera.
You come out of hiding and all eyes are on you.
You scoff, "It's nice to know our relationships built off broken promises."
You run your fingers through your hair and run your hands up and down the sides of his arms, repeating his actions from earlier.
"I promise."
You mock his words as you shove his chest and walk out.
