"why you so tense?" archie laughs as he gives veronica's shoulders a squeeze. she flenches from his grasp. "stop." she sighs breathing. he looks over at you. you shake your head as if to say 'don't'.
she walks away down the hall, head low. "what'd I do." archie asks confused. jughead shakes his head. "she's going to see her dad today. catch on man." jughead informs him.
"ohhhhh. that's today." he remembers. "aren't you going with her today yn?" you nod. "after school though." you awkwardly bounce on your heels. you clear your throat. "welp better get to class." juggie says as if nothing happened and begins walking.
you follow closely behind with archie.
AFTER SCHOOL, veronica is already waiting outside for you as you approach. "ready?" you ask already knowing the question. she shakes her head in reply looking down. "i mean your his daughter. everything should be fine."
"yeah, yeah of course." she kinda gives in. "bu- but what if he just wants to tell me to make sure archies dad gives up the property?" she stutters slowing down her walking pace.
"your his daughter he's gonna be happy to see you. don't make it harder than it needs to be or seems." you rub her back in comfort. "she flashes her award winning smile, "yeah."
THE PRISON; you walk in. veronica's smile still on her face. "here to see hiram lodge." she lets the front desk person know. "name." "veronica lodge." she tells her. "sorry your names been taken off." she lets her know.
She breaks down. "what?" she stands there shocked as her head drops. she turns around and you grab her hand in comfort and eventually snake your arm around her and walk out.
