Pain & more pain

(Ali's POV)

I woke up for the next few days with a slight pain in my chest and I know that the link between me and Shane is still there. I know after what he said to me that I truly didn't want him, so he must still want me back..

I dress into some blue jean shorts and a pink tank top with a pair of my blue Nike shoes. My dad is in the kitchen already making his coffee for the day. he smiles at me then goes back to his coffee mug.

Since I'm curious about the pain I'm feeling I ask "Dad.... how do you know if the guy still wants you or not?" he grunts as if he don't wanna really talk about this subject but says "well... did you reject him after he rejected you?" I nodded.

He sighed "well then y'all's link or bond is more than likely demolished for good, Unless he wants you back then you will hurt a little but slowly hurt more and more until y'all either reject once more or agree to being mates."

I slumped down and groaned, my chest hurt a little more than earlier and I'm starting to truly want it to go away. if what my dad says is true then Shane wants me now and he lied.

School starts in a few days and if being close to him before he rejected me felt comforting and at peace then it will probably be worse.

-few days later

(Ali's POV)

I woke and I was feeling alright but today is school and that means I have to be in the same building as my ex jerk of a mate.

I get in the shower and relax. The water washing me of all my worries and making me feel nice and fresh..

I put on a pair of shorts that are tight but not short short. Then I put on a purple tank top with a short sleeve low cut shirt, I also have some nice sandals on to go with it.

When I'm finished I grab my bag and head to the kitchen where Jace is munching on cereal. He grunts " hey Ali, how you feeling?" I narrowed my eyes at him "good, where's your manners Jace?"

He laughed and looked at me "somewhere, and nice clothes Ali, when did u start to dress like a real girl?" I slapped him over the head "when I wanted to, jerk." He groaned "thanks sis for the head smack..... Brat." I laughed as the bus blew the horn.

Shit! Me and Jace dashed out the door and onto the bus laughing as we tripped over each other to get on the bus. When I got on the bus I sat with some bubbly girl. Crazy awesomeness flowed from her, I decided that it was going to be best to sit with her.

She gave me a toothy grin and said "hey I'm Lila and your?" I smiled "I am Aliea, and everybody calls me Ali tho so yeah.." She laughed "you got nice clothes, they aren't skanky like other girls and they kinda.... (She whispered) are drawing attention." I looked at her tilting my head a little "what?" She nodded backwards "a guys checking you out." I mouthed 'oh'...

I looked backward and saw a blonde looking at me. I smiled and mouthed 'hey.' He smiled back mouthing 'hey.... Cutie.' I blushed and asked 'your name?' He shrugged 'Daniel, yours?' I coughed 'Ali.' He then says 'that's a hot name.' I rolled my eyes 'not really and watch out my brother is an soon to be alpha, he might get upset.' He nodded 'ok' giving me a wink.

After a few minutes I heard a rumbling sound get closer to the bus and my wolf started howling. Oh hell, I felt the pain hit me like a dagger with silver on it stabbing my heart. I felt the pain shatter my body, Lila seemed to know what was happening and pulled me into her side "don't you worry I know your hurting." I shook and tears started to pour out of my eyes soaking my cheeks. The rumbling reeves up and then disappears. I hear the bus come to a stop and everyone getting off. My brother stops and grabs my arm pulling me up "come on, your tough, just push through it." Daniel looked confused but he probably had a clue.

Once inside the school I walked to my first class and my favorite, math, but before I did Daniel stopped me. "Hey." I turned around and asked "what?" He put his hands up "what was that on the bus?" I rolled my eyes "nothing I just, I'm hurting because of someone, and he didn't even want me, but I can't get him off my head." He frowned "it'll be fine, hey I'm here if you need me." I smiled "thanks, well I got to go." Turning around I entered the class room and sat in the way back...

The teacher left me alone knowing my dad she didn't want to really deal with me or him, so she just ignored my lateness.

The pain stayed for two more classes then went away at lunch. Jace came up to me after I placed my food down and was going to get me something to drink. "Hey Ali, you doing better?" I nodded "yeah lot better."

But as he walked away I felt a sharp pain that made me crash to the floor with blood curdling screams.

Oh my god he's in here!!

(Shane's POV)

I woke up to my wolf howling at me.. And on the way to school when I passed a school bus a pain thrusters my insides and my wolf howled with pain and sadness. I got over it after two periods and then I was heading to the lunch room. When I got in there all I saw and heard was Ali fall to the ground and tears flowed down her cheeks as she screamed blood curdling screams. Jace was about 40 feet from her when my wolf took control.

He dashed to her body and lifted her up. She started to whimper and groan, I turned and took off away from everyone's eyes with her in my arms.

I got away from Jace and covered our scent. I went into a dark class room and locked it.

Ali winced at my touch and my wolf cried that it was us causing her pain. He started to speak threw me and tried to get her to give in first.

(Ali's POV)

"Ali." He whispers in my ear "you know you want me, you know you can't stand against this pull."

His hand touches my cheek and I jerk away. "I don't need you, I don't want you." Pausing "you rejected me, not the other way around, so finally I gave up." He growled "my name is Damien and I didn't reject you, I want you Ali I want you, and your wolf, your mine, please Ali I want you, nobody else, Shane wants you he is just in denial, I want you Ali." Then I held back another series of shocking pain that rattled my body "I don't believe you Damien."

He moved my loose dangling hair out of my eyes. then sat on a desk pulling me on his lap. his hands were on my thighs which sent shivers threw my body and then he did something i never thought he would do. "You better believe it!" then mashing our lips together slowly moving in sync.

(Shane's POV)

I can't believe Damien did that. my thoughts started to blur when my lips met hers. sparks flew and my emotions amplified double time. Damien slowly gave me control and it was intense. Ali's hands found my shoulders and she pushed me back detaching our kiss. Damien whined but I just looked at her plainly "why did you move away?" she frowned at me "Shane, Damien wants me. why not you?" I stuttered because I know I lost I want her back with all my mind, body, and soul and I'm probably gonna beg her.
