"And that's what happened"

Agumon said after explaining the whole story of Polly's situation to Tai. They were currently in his room, while Tai sat on his chair thinking about what Agumon said. He then look to Polly who had her eyes down, he smiled sadly and placed a hand on her shoulder.

"Don't worry, we're going to figure it out okay but until then you can stay with us"

Polly looked at Tai in fear.

"No please you have to understand. The more I sit and wait then chances are that Molly's father will find me."

"You don't have to worry about that Agumon and Gatomon here can protect you...."

"No, he has high authority. You can also get into big trouble and maybe even worse. I'm already putting Agumon's life in danger"

She said cutting Tai off.

"I understand but we'll need to come up with a plan. So just let me give a friend a call, he's a genius he can help"

Tai said as he got up and went out the room. Agumon then walked up to Polly who looked like she wanted to break down.

"You see, I told you Tai will come up with a solution"

"Yeah"

She said lowly before closing her eyes and began to sob. Agumon sadly smiled and pulled her into a hug, she buried her face into his chest and warpped her arms around him like her life depended on him. Just then Gatomon, slowly opened the door and saw the scene, she put her ears down flat. She honestly felt sorry for Polly. Kari saw where Gatomon was standing and went towards her.

"Gatomon what are you looking at?"

She asked as she looked through the crack and sadly saw the scene. Gatomon pulled away and looked up at Kari.

"I wish there was something we can do?"

Kari sadly picked up Gatomon and gave her a hug.

"Its okay, we'll figure something out"

She said as she went to the couch with Gatomon in her arms. Tai let out a sigh as he hanged up the phone and looked towards Gatomon and Kari who were sad.

"Hey you guys okay?"

He asked as he sat down beside them. Gatomon looked to Tai.

"Is there any way we can help?"

She immediately asked. Tai sadly smiled.

"Just try to keep her happy"

"What did Izzy say?"

Kari asked.

"He'll be coming over. When I mention that Polly isn't a regular digimon, he said he'll be here in 5 minutes. Until then we wait, how's Polly"

He asked. Kari sadly turned her head away.

"She's crying but Agumon is comforting her the best he could, even though its not his strongest suite of comforting people but he does has a way with words"

She said with a slight smile. Tai nodded. The sound of the door bell rang and Tai went to open it to reveal a panting Izzy.

"That was fast"

Tai commented. Izzy finally caught his breathe.

"When you said Polly's partner's father was experimenting on Polly it got me concern and I came up with a few theories that are not so pleasant. So where is she?"

He asked as he stepped in. Kari, Gatomon and Tai led Izzy to the room. Agumon and Polly pulled away blushing. Izzy then got in front of Polly and checked her over.

"Strange. You look normal like any other digimon"

Izzy said. Polly then looked to Tai for an explanation.

"I told him about the situation"

"Oh"

She said with a slight smile. Izzy then looked to Polly.

"I may have a few theories of what your partner's father might be planning to do, but first I want to make sure did you leave any detail out?"

He asked sternly and Polly shook her head.

"Okay. Theory 1) The scientist is probably trying to take his daughter's spirit and transfer it to yours, therefore bringing her to life. Theory 2) Using mind control. And theory 3) probably making clones of you"

Everyone in the room was quiet until Gatomon spoke.

"So how could we help? I mean Polly is trying to free her partner's spirit from the chamber"

"By the sounds of it, I think this is only a one person mission"

Izzy said.

"Wait what are you saying?"

Tai asked.

"I'm saying that this might be dangerous then we thought but we should take precaution just so we know what we are dealing with. Polly how many people are working with the guy and where?"

Polly thought for a second.

"There's 15 people that I counted but there maybe more, I got dizzy when they injected me so I lost count. I know clearly where the lab is, its in the basement under the house. Its more like a headquarters where everyone is wearing coating and working with different color chemicals"

"Great and what's his name?"

"He's name is Victor P. Blum"

"Okay, if he's a scientist then he should be known"

Izzy said as he took out his laptop and began to search the name but Polly walked up to him and looked at the screen. It read 'unknown'.

"I don't understand, are you sure that's his real name?"

He asked. Polly looked at the computer and then up to Izzy.

"Its his name but remember not all scientist are reveal through the world wide web unless they want to be found"

"You think he's still at your home?"

Kari asked.

"Without a doubt, every time he captures me it always at the same home"

Polly said.

"So what's the plan Izzy?"

Tai asked.

"I honestly don't know, and we can't even go to the police without even real solid evidence. I think the best thing we can do is wait for him to come to Polly with you and Agumon of course with her"

"Why can't you and the others come?"

"We'll be standing by if anything explodes, I'll tell the others. Other than that we have to wait"

"We won't be waiting for long, Victor is always on the move"

Polly said.

"That's not fair, we want to help too"

Gatomon said angrily. Polly smiled.

"And you are"

"How?"

"By standing by my side when I need friends the most"

Polly said with a smile causing Gatomon to smile.
