I rush down the stairs and quickly grabbed my pouch before storming out of the door, stupid Sarada just had to prank me with changing my alarm. I cursed on my way to the academy when I see two familiar figures standing on a roof staring down at something, they jumped down and disappeared.
"That was definitely Boruto and Inojin, but that is not the way to the academy" I mutter to myself, I stood there contemplating if I should take a peek or just ignore it and continue on my way to the academy. I sigh and silently jumped on the roof, my curiosity was too big. I peeked down from the roof to see Shikadai, Inojin and Boruto staring at a mad Metal. I tilted my head to the side confused, did something happen between them?
"Are you fighting Metal?" Inojin asked
"I don't get it, but he's not himself" Shikadai answered, my curiosity just grew even more as I listened to their conversation
"If you're going to get in the way, I won't show you any mercy either" Metal said in a sinister way.
"What's wrong Boruto?" Inojin asked
"Can't you guys see that?" He replied which perked up my interest
"What are you talking about?" Shikadai asked puzzled but Boruto didn't answer
"Never mind that, Metal has lost it. What do we do?" Shikadai continued
"Something terrible will happen unless we do something!" Boruto exclaimed, my eyes glided back to Metal to see him pull out two shruikens. As he threw his I swiftly pulled out a kunai and jumped down from the roof as I threw it, the kunai hit the shruikens making them fall on the ground. I landed on the ground and gazed up at Metal, he seems frustrated.
"Sarena?" Shikadai blurted out in surprise
"What did you do that made him this upset?" I asked the three boys behind me without looking at them, I can't see their faces but I for sure knew that they were awkwardly glancing at each other. Metal pulled out two other shruikens and threw it at us, we jumped and avoided it in time
"He threw it perfectly!" Shikadai exclaimed, we landed on the ground and stared at Metal
"Do you have a strategy?" Boruto asked
"Yeah, run!" Shikadai yelled and started to run away, I gazed back to see them all running away from the situation. Stunned, my eyes followed Metal as he ran after the boys
"Huh? What just happened?" I stood there for a moment before I decided to peek around the wall to see Metal crashing into the training logs, I quickly jogged up to them as I stared down at Metal
"Is he okay?" I asked, the heads to the three boys turned around to stare up at me
"Yeah, I think so" Shikadai answered
"What did I...! Ow" Metal mumbled as he rubbed his head
"Thank goodness" Shikadai sighed in relief
"Looks like you're back to normal" I speak up, Metal's eyes glided up to me as his cheeks turned into a slight pinkish colour
"S-Sarena?" He stuttered out baffled, I smiled down at him and he quickly looks away. I stared at him puzzled, when suddenly Shikadai bowed down
"I'm so sorry about yesterday, I didn't mean to belittle you!" He apologised, I arched my eyebrows confused down at him. What actually happened yesterday?
"No, it's okay" Metal responded
"You had every right to be angry, I'm really sorry. Your power when you're not nervous is really awesome" Shikadai continued to praise Metal, Metal continued to stare at him not knowing what to say
"He's right you know" I say as I reached out my hand for him, he stared up at me and my hand before he awkwardly grabbed it. I pulled him up and he smiled thankfully at me before he let my hand go
"I think you should train a little more seriously, and especially you Boruto" Metal advised
"Me?!" Boruto uttered out baffled
"That's pretty blunt" Shikadai spoke and chuckled lightly, the bell to class rang clear and loudly
"Oh, class is going to start! Come on everyone let's go!" Metal exclaimed and started to run to the academy
We finally burst through the door to our class to have all eyes on us, I glance up at Sarada to see her having a smug smile plastered her face. I glare up at her as I stomped up to my seat
"Did you sleep well?" She teased me, I plopped down on the bench and chose to ignore her
"Oh come on don't be mad, it was just a prank" She said as she started to poke my cheek, I grabbed her finger to stop her
"I was almost late for class" I spoke, Sarada yanked her finger off my grip and chuckled evilly
"I was just playing" She responded, I turn my head to the side to look at her
"Not fun" I replied, she giggled and gave me a quick side hug
"Love you" She said to try and cheer me up, I sigh and smiled
"Love you too" I responded

"I'm home" Me and Sarada shouted through the house as we entered our home
"Ah, I've made tomato soup. You want some?" I hear mom ask from the kitchen
"No thank you, I hate tomatoes" Sarada said as she rummaged through the fridge on the search for something else to eat
"What really? I love tomatoes" I say as I leaned on the counter and watched mom stir the soup
"I just hate it; the texture is gross. When you bite into it it's suddenly a surprise waterfall, and it's slimy on the inside" Sarada expressed her hate for tomatoes as she pulled out some cheese from the fridge and bread from the cupboard
"But tomato soup is just like water, it doesn't have the tomato texture" I spoke
"Whatever, I still hate it" She answered all flustered, I grinned towards her as mom poured two small bowls of soup
"How do you like it at the academy so far?" Mom asked
"Hmm, I don't know" I bluntly answered, I still think this is very unnecessary since I have already learned some of the basics from dad
"Have you learned anything new?" Mom continued to question me
"We haven't really begun on something; we've only practiced with some shruikens" I answered her
"I think we're going to learn about summoning jutsu tomorrow" Sarada joined the conversation
"Well that's interesting isn't it?" Mom spoke, I just shrugged my shoulders and continued to eat my soup. My mind drifted away as I thought about the incident that happened with Metal today, Boruto did ask if his comrades saw something. I bit on my lower lip as that one line Boruto said earlier gnawed on my mind even more
