2 || The Academy

Boruto: Naruto next generation ep 1

I quickly put on my navy blue qipao shirt that stops mid thigh and has the Uchiha crest embroidered on the back as I paired it with a pair of black shorts, black thigh-length stockings, black shinobi sandals and black fingerless gloves. I moved my bangs to the side before stepping out from my room, I closed the door to my bedroom at the same time Sarada walks out from her. I tilted my head to the side as I stared down at her outfit, she is wearing a tight white shirt with a yellow bow tied around her neck and over that a low cut tight fitting red dress with high collars and a pair of open-toed boots.

"What?" I hear her ask.

"Are you really going to wear that hideous outfit?" I commented, she glanced down on her outfit.

"It's not that terrible" She replied.

"How are you supposed to do anything in those heels?" I asked while staring down at her shoes.

"It's first day of school" She tried to defend herself, I grinned mischievously before I walked down the stairs.

"Keep telling yourself that" I chirped as I skipped down the stairs.

"I'm older than you don't even try Sarena" I hear Sarada exclaim after me before I let out a laugh.

We waved goodbye to mom before we started to make our way to the academy, on our way I met a few of Sarada's friends. All of them seemed pretty shocked to know that Sarada had a sister, but I guess I can't blame them. I have never been in Konoha in my thirteen years of life, it's understandable to be shocked. As we entered the gate to the academy all eyes suddenly landed on us, is it because of me or some of the girl's skimpy outfits? We'll never know. We walked over to a crowd of students and lined up, I gazed up at the front to see Naruto standing there ready to greet all the students. Our eyes locked and he gave me a tired smile, I smiled back worried about his health.

"Welcome to the academy!" Naruto began, all of the students stopped talking and started to pay attention to him instead. I glanced around the crowd to see multiple of students staring at the hokage in admiration, I wasn't here but I have heard from my dad that Naruto saved the ninja world.

"We will begin with calling up all the students one by one, if your name is called notify us" A man with some odd glasses spoke, he started to call name after name when he suddenly stopped. The hokage turned around to look at him confused.

"Sorry" He apologized before he cleared his throat.

"Sarena Uchiha" He called out, after my name was called the students started to chat. Was it that surprising? Didn't mom or at least Sarada tell anyone about me?

"Here" I speak up, all of their eyes snapped towards me. Some students started to mutter things while other just stared at me astonished that there is another Uchiha child.

"Chocho Akimichi?" The teacher continued.

"Here."

"Boruto Uzumaki."

"Boruto Uzumaki!" The teacher repeated louder, I gaze around waiting for an answer but no one said a word.

"He's not here?" A voice spoke.

"Uzumaki?"

"That Uzumaki?" I glance around confused before I leaned forward.

"Who's Boruto Uzumaki?" I asked Sarada, her head slightly turned around.

"A troublesome kid" She answered, I leaned back still puzzled. A few minutes passed before a loud screeching was heard, my head snapped up to see a part of a train fly above us. I arched my eyebrows in astonishment, I never knew Konoha was that... crazy. The train crashed on a face carved out from the hokage rock, I peered up at the situation and when the dust cleared I saw a boy with blond spiky hair staring down at the academy.

"Boruto Uzumaki is here ya know!" He shouted, I gazed up at the teachers who seemed pretty stunned.

"Boruto!" Naruto shouted.

"Amazing..." Sarada mumbled annoyed, I stared up at the boy who was fighting with a teacher still confused on why he chose to do that.

"He seems interesting though" I spoke, Sarada and Chocho's head swerved around so fast I thought they were going to break their necks.

"Him? Interesting? He's just trouble" Sarada replied as she scoffed, I continued to look at the boy. Something about him feels familiar.

"Hey, why does he remind me of the hokage?" I asked.

"He's his son" Another voice spoke, I turn around to see a boy with black coloured spiky hair which he had tied up in a ponytail and teal coloured eyes.

"Him? Naruto's son?" I responded surprised, I mean they do look alike, but their personality is so different.

"It's just as surprising when we found out there was another Uchiha child" He continued to talk.

"Come on Shikadai you knew, I told you" Sarada chimed in, he just shrugged his shoulders and placed his arms on the back of his head.

"I thought you were kidding at first" He replied, Sarada glared up at Shikadai who only shrugged his shoulders again. He turned around and started to walk away, somehow his relaxed demeanour irritated me. Why? I don't know.

"Okay the event is over for today, don't be late tomorrow. The academy begins then" A teacher announced, for some reason I felt really hyper, finally time to show people my skills. When I was on the trip with dad he always had me hide or stay behind if one small problematic thing came up, which was not fun.

A smirk appeared on my face as I stared up at the academy symbol, I am ready.
