Chapter 5. Chaos, Springbreak and Roadtrips

(Alex POV)

"Huh" I say completely confused looking at Nova and watching her shrug "No idea" Nova responds to my unspoken question.

"Aren't you the least bit worried about her" I ask as a silver serving tray comes flying out of the kitchen and almost imbedding itself in the wall.

My eyes widen in surprise as the screaming gets louder "What on earth is she doing in there" I ask in a slightly shaky voice.

(Merry POV)

"Where the hell is it" I scream out loud in frustration while throwing things behind me not caring where they go for the moment as I continue looking for my missing frying pan.

"Aha" I scream in success finally finding my missing object happy now I turn around and frown at the mess I made.

"Oh well" I say too myself picking up the objects I had thrown around and randomly place them back in the cabinets.

(Nova POV)

I laugh slightly at Alex as his eyes widen in fear at the random flying objects coming from the kitchen.

"What on earth is she doing in there" I hear him ask in a slightly shaky voice "I have no idea" I respond to his question. 

A few minutes later we hear Merry scream "Aha" as the screaming and flying objects stop.

"Think it's safe too go in there now" Alex asks me still a little fearful "Yeah it's safe" Merry says in response coming out of the kitchen and picking up items that had made it into the living room.

Looking up and at Alex she laughs at his slightly fearful look "Breakfast will be ready in a few" she says before walking back into the kitching.

I shake my head at Merry's craziness "She's nuts" Alex exclaims loudly making Merry laugh in the other room.

"Yep she is very nuts" I say in response "And proud of it" Merry calls from the kitchen. I watch as Alex shakes his head at our ultimate weirdness.

As we both hop up off the couch and head into the kitchen for breakfast.

-Next Week-

After a week of nothing but tests springbreak was finally here "Yay" I scream in excitement as I earn a few nasty looks from the other students in the room.

I just shrug and grab my things running full speed out of the school straight to Merry's car.

"God finally it's about time break got here" I say too merry as we pull out of the school parking lot.

"I know I can't believe we will be on the road to the concert in a few hours" Merry responds excitedly.

"I know" I scream equally excited as we pull into the drive way of my house I immediately hop out of Merry's car and run inside heading upstairs too my room to start packing.

A few minutes later Merry runs in my room sharing my happiness at getting too go to a Vampires Everywhere concert. She sits down on my bed as I finish packing and we chat too past the time.

-A few hours later-

"Well Merry" I say "I think we should start heading out now if we want to make it there in time not too mention the hotel we are staying at for the night".

I explain grabbing my suitcase and heading downstairs to tell my parents goodbye.

"Alright Nova" Merry responds heading out the front door too start her car.

"Well mom and dad I'm heading out now so I'll see you near  the end of break" I tell my parents.

"Well alright sweety be careful the both of you" my parents respond.

"We will be" I promise hugging my parents tightly before heading out the door.

Once I get in Merry's car we start heading out of town.

-20 minutes later-

We leave the town and I scream "MUSIC TIME" before placing my Falling in Reverse cd in the cd player and singing along to The Drug in Me is You.

-About an hour later-

We pull up into a gas station for some snacks and drinks well in Merry's case coffee.

"Coffee I need coffee now" Merry says creepily before running inside straight for the coffee machine grabbing a plastic cup.

And pouring her a cup of well needed coffee adding creamer and a little bit of sugar paying for it and sitting in her car.

I myself choose a big bottle of pepsi and a couple of bags of chips and some candy bars.

 Paying for my selection of snack items and drink I head back to the car get in and we are once again on the road.

-A couple of hours later-

We head into the nearest hotel parking lot for the night. "Joy" I say sarcastically seeing how packed it was hearing Merry sigh we head into the hotel lobby too pay for our rooms.
