Camila and Lauren were in the living room curled up in blankets watching morning cartoons. Lauren was eating leftover chinese food; and she wasn't sure how old it was since it was in fridge already from when Harry and Zayn were staying. Camila was feeling a little under the weather, and so she was eating chicken noddle soup.

A red banner with the words BREAKING NEWS appeared across the screen in white bold letters. "What the hell I was watching that! " Camila threw a pillow at the tv, and after it bounced off a female newscaster was on the screen and what looked like the backyard of Zayn's cabin was in the back of her. "Shh. Shhh." Lauren slapped the girl as she turned the volume up. Both girls hearts were racing not knowing what was so breaking.

"Egnever Rd. has always been a quaint quiet area to live, and no one thought the words death would even be muttered here, until today just half an hour ago the body of twenty year old Louis Tomlinson was discovered by his roommate Liam Payne." Lauren and Camila's jaws were dropped and they both pinched theirselves, which is something they did when something felt like a dream. Liam appeared on the screen, tears staining his face. "We always spend the night here. It's like our second home," he sniffled. "So when he didn't come back to our flat I didn't suspect anything... and I came here to see if he wanted to grab a bite since the service here ain't great, and I found him floating in the pool, and now he's gone." Liam pulled his shirt up and wiped his tears. The camera went back to the screen. "Police are saying it's certain that the boy drowned, but---" Lauren's trembling hands switched off the tv. Both girls sat their frozen for a moment, as the information soaked into their brains. Louis was dead.

"I feel sick," Lauren stood up, and made her way out to the balcony. She grabbed a trashcan and hovered above it, ready to vomit whenever. Camila walked out a few seconds later. "I don't know what's worse, the news, or the fact that they interuppted cartoons to show that." Lauren looked up from the wastecan and glared at Camila.

"Are you being serious right now? Louis' dead. I know what he did yesterday was disgusting, but he's gone now, no one deserves to die."

"I feel horrible! I just I'm kind of in denial right now and the news made me uncomfortable. I agree, no one deserves to die." Camila and Lauren went back to silence. "I wonder if Zayn knows." Lauren ran back inside for her phone, Camila walked in after her, still nauseated by the breaking news. She still couldn't believe it. Her eyes caught on a picture in a frame of Niall, Zayn, Liam, Harry and Louis. They were all smiling, and that made her feel even more sick. Harry and Louis' didn't even get a chance to hash things out with one another, and she hoped Harry didn't spiral when he heard the news.

Camila watched as Lauren paced back and fourth talking to Zayn before hanging up two minutes later. "They heard, they're on their way there now with his parents. I still can't believe it. I mean, I hardly knew him but the fact that I just saw him yesterday, I can still hear his voice ringing in my ears as he told Perrie off..."

"Louis' death doesn't make any sense.." Lauren suddenly spoke up. Things had been silent since they had found out the news. Camila did a sad laugh. "Tell me about it.." she swished her fork around in her chicken noodle soup that had long gone terribly cold. "He was a lifeguard, and he took swimming in high school, how do you just drown.." Camila raised her eyebrows, and held a hand up. "Hold up, are you trying to say that there is a possibility that he was...murdered?"

"I don't want to think that someone would do such a thing... but yeah." Lauren nodded.

"No... no." Camila shook her head in complete denial that murder could be a theory to suggest. "That can't be. Everyone liked Louis.."

"Except Perrie." Lauren pointed out.

"You can't possibly think that Perrie would kill Louis." Just saying the word made Camila a little sick. "I'm not trying to jump straight to conclusions, but think about it.. Louis loved me and Zayn together, and told Perrie she had no chance in hell to get back together with him. Who knows maybe she...." Lauren couldn't finish her sentence, so with an unfocused gaze Camila finished for her. "Maybe she drowned him in anger.." Lauren didn't verbally say anything, but the look in her green eyes were enough. "You really think that?"

"I don't know. But she was the last one to see Louis alive," Lauren said.

"Okay... I'm really going to be sick," Camila jumped to her feet and made a run for the bathroom.
