Patton's P.O.V
Virgil was sitting on the grimy floor, his back resting against a row of lockers while blasting music through his headphones. I stood next to him, rubbing my arm and observing everyone around us. People were talking, laughing and they all seemed relaxed. They all know each other as well.
"Stop it Patty" Virgil had taken his headphones off and was now staring at me worriedly.
"Stop what?" I asked, confused.
"Being anxious, that's my job" he smirked.
"But what if they don't like us?"
"You made a tub of cookies, how could no one like you?" Virgil gestured to the Tupperware box sitting at my feet full of my homemade cookies.
"And if anyone Is nasty to you, I'll beat them up for you" I gasped
"Noooooooo Virgil, violence is not the answer" He sighed
"I'll beat them up with words" I smiled. Then The bell echoed through the halls signalling the beginning of classes.
Logan's P.O.V
I was the first in class and had found a textbook about biology so I began reading it to pass the time. It was about fifteen minutes before anyone else arrived and amongst the flow of people entering the room, I noticed Roman humming to himself while holding a mirror and adjusting his hair. Virgil and Patton arrived together, Virgil sat at a desk at the back and Patton took the empty desk next to me. Patton was clutching a box full of cookies close to his chest as he sat down.
"I hope you aren't eating them all your self. It would be approximately 610g of sugar not Including the glucose, maltose, sucrose etcetera. The average person over the age of 11 shouldn't have any more than 30g a day. That's over 2000% of your average intake. The amount of sugar would maybe give you metabolic syndrome but it most definitely would give you an extreme sugar rush. That would be intolerable and unacceptable, especially in an educational environment." I explained.
"You are rambling Logan and they aren't all for me silly, they're for making friends" he giggled. I returned to my book.
"Friends are overrated" I grumbled
"Would you like a cookie Logan?" He asked adorably while offering me the box. Adorably? I had never noticed that before.
Roman's P.O.V
When the teacher arrived leaflets for the annual school musical were handed out. Auditions took place next Friday. You needed to audition in pairs but who would do it with me? I didn't know anyone apart from Logan, Patton and Virgil. Logan would not sing the songs, only rap them and Patton would become over emotional. But that only leaves Virgil. I suppose I could always force him to do it. Suddenly Patton was standing over me and shoving a box of cookies in my face.
"Take one." I looked up. Patton was hovering in front of me.
"I thought these were for making new friends? Are we not already friends?"
"I know, I know I just don't know how to talk to people" His usual sunny smile had disappeared and He was now looking like a sad little forlorn puppy.
"You are starting to sound like our dear old worry wart"
"Don't be mean to Virgil" Feeling kind of guilty, I reached my hand into the tub and picked one. He almost instantly looked happier.
"thanks, Roman!" He then started bouncing around the room and handing them out. He was impossible not to like.
