Does Jake like me? Did he lean in for a kiss or did I mistake it for something else. And why wouldn't my mother want things to get serious between us two I mean we do make a cute couple, he is very handsome and I love it when he ....WAIT WHAT AM I SAYING!?! Do I like Jake? No I like him as a best friend, he's like a brother to me and that's it! We can't be anything more than best friends, we just can't!
All the questions and wonders made me tired and dizzy so I went up to my bedroom to go get some sleep even though I haven't eaten dinner yet but oh well I'll just have a big breakfast tomorrow. My eyelids soon started to droop downwards and before I knew it I was asleep.
I woke up to find myself in a different bedroom I sat upwards and I saw a boy in the bed too. Who was it and where was I? I walked over to the boy and noticed it was Jake, beside the bed was a cot with a baby and on the walls were pictures of me and Jake and the baby. Was this my future? I then noticed we were in the park and Jake asked me to marry him as he pulled out a ring and then he put his hand in his pocket again and took out a gun.
"Marry me or I'll kill all your family" he said seriously. I started crying.
"Why are you going to kill them?" I wept.
"Because you never loved me and this is the only way you will so what is it yes or no?"
I then woke up in my warm comfortable bed, sweating and my eyes all wet with tears. I just had my first nightmare about Jake. Did I really not want to love him that way? But Jake would never force me to marry him...or would he?
I soon drifted off...
I woke up by my cell phone ringing, I picked it up.
"Hello?"
"Kate come on get ready we have to go to town to do the mini concert!"Said a familiar voice but I was too half asleep to figure out who.
"Who is it?" I mumbled.
"HELLO IT'S BRANDY. WE HAVE TO GO TO TOWN FOR THE MINI CONCERT IN ONE HOUR SO GET READY OR I'LL GO OVER TO YOUR HOUSE AND THROW A BUCKET OF FREEZING WATER OVER YOUR HEAD!"
"Geez don't be such a meanie."
"I'm sorry but we have organised this for a long time and you have to sing and I have to sing and the money goes to charity remember?"
"Yeah yeah I do. I'll be ready in half an hour see you at err" I looked at my watch it was 9 am "I'll see you at 10 in the towns square okay?"
"See you bye"
I quickly got out of bed and went to my wardrobe. I got out a high black waist skirt with a grey flowery top and put black dolly shoes, some mascara eyeliner and lipstick and I straightened my hair and my fringe I went to the kitchen and my tummy started to rumble, I ate tea toast and biscuits and hopefully that would keep my stomach full until lunch. I was ready to go.
I walked to the town square and saw a huge crowd waiting and the stage was put up. I suddenly got very nervous. I can't sing in front of that many people, and neither could brandy either!
I saw brandy waiting by the stage, she looked really pretty. She was wearing a violet shiny dress with a bead belt, her hair was curled and she dyed her hair a black colour which made her skin look paler. She was talking to a boy and once she saw me she told him bye and I walked towards her.
"Who was that?" I winked.
"Oh that was just Charlie" she smiled.
"Charlie? The one you have loved since I don't know... three years!"
"Yes that one" she winked.
"Well you look very pretty no wonder Charlie talked to you"
"And he asked me out!"
"WHAT!! DID YOU SAY YES??"
"Of course! And you look very pretty too but I'm really nervous!"
"Me too...Hey don't change the subject! So you're going out with Charlie then?"
"Yeah I can't believe it!"
A man dressed in black tapped me on the shoulder.
"The concert is about to start your up soon, practice!"
I really got nervous after that, I started trembeling a lot!
"Okay Kate and brandy your turn!"
I walked towards the stage and got the microphone, Brandy did the same.
The song their going to sing is overboard by Justin bieber and Jessica barrel, Kate is singing Jessica and brandy is singing Justin well ok carry on reading!

The music started playing and I was really nervous. I closed my eyes. And words started coming out of my mouth...

So back and forth that's how its seems whoa (thousands staring at me)

Then brandy started singing. I can't believe I did it by myself though. Oh my gosh, I didn't lose the note or choke or anything, for the first time I did it correct.
Soon the chorus was coming up and I and brandy started singing together and the song finished. It went by very quickly. Loads of people were clapping, screaming for more.
I waved "thank you everyone, I was quite nervous but not now" and then I put the microphone on the stand and walked out.
Brandy hugged me and I hugged her back.
A young man came up to me. He has short blonde hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a Purple hoodie and jeans.
"Hello are you Kate Line?" he turned to me.
"Yes"
" Well I am a talent scout and I just heard you sing and we were thinking about giving you a record label, what do you think about that?" he asked.
"Are you serious? Is this a joke or something?"
"This is no joke Miss Line. May you meet me here tomorrow at 3pm and bring your Mother"
"Sure"
"You have pure talent Kate, you have an amazing voice, and this might be your lucky break"
DOES HE MEAN FAME? Oh my, was this really happening?!
He walked away and Brandy hugged me.
"Kate this is your dream it's finally happening!" I couldn't believe it. I had dreamt of this since I was really small, and now it was coming true!
