A few weeks later I stepped into the church. It was a Sunday of course, but after the sermon when every one but I, Dolore and Christian were there, Dolore took my hand and led me up to the front, in front of the cross.
"Once I knelt here hating myself and never believing Georgie could ever forgive me. Now you have to find it in yourself to forgive God. To understand that his plan is greater than yours and that what he has in store for his people is good."
I closed my eyes and Bowed my head I glanced back at Christian who had his eyes closed then up towards the cross. For a moment I swear I saw her. Beckoning me to the cross. But then she was gone again. Like a flash of lightning. But I know it was real.
I went back to my seat as Dolore wandered out into the crowd of churchgoers I heard someone sit next to me.
"Hello Christian."
"You know the sermon is only half the reason we come?"
"Yeah. I know."
And then he led me out into the crowd and the people there greeted me with joy.
That day, on the front steps of the church, I forgave God. And I accepted his will back into my life. That day. I knew I was never gonna regret that day. The day Christian Towers and Dolore Risus led me back to the light Georgianna had led me away from.
