personally, I think giving people outfit choices in wattpad books is extremely overused/cringe, so for Dohyeong's dress, i give you the liberty of imagining a dress for her :)

"Hey, you made it!" Yuta greeted us politely, a huge smile showing up on his lips. He was greeting us, but you could tell he wasn't focused much on me. Aera and Yuta looked so happy to see each other.

When I looked at Hyeokjae, he wasn't doing much but playing with the cuffs on his sleeves.

We were a huge dip in comparison to Yuta and Aera, who were now happily chatting away, oblivious to the fact that neither Hyeokjae nor I had moved a muscle.

We both caught each other's eye after a moment, making both of us immediately look away. I couldn't tell if this was tension or just plain awkwardness.

I couldn't pick out an emotion to save my life. I like to think that I shouldn't be allowed around other human beings. Life would be a lot easier if that were the case.

"Hey, Dohyeong?"

Hyeokjae's voice brought me out of my thoughts and actually surprised me a little.

"Yeah?" I looked back to a now slightly nervous looking Hyeokjae, his act of playing with his sleeves looking much more forced now.

"You look beautiful." He complimented me, the corners of his lips curving upwards as he did.

I told myself I wouldn't look down at my dress as he said it, but I couldn't help but let my eyes wander. The one I'd picked from my closet last minute had been doing me good so far.

I looked up and returned his smile shyly, "Thanks. You look great too."

And I meant it, he really did look great. Though he was sporting the same tuxedo that every other guy was, the little bowtie he had on and his small but bedazzled helix piercing made him look above all the others.

He kept looking over at Yuta and Aera –who were still immersed in their own private conversation— and I could tell he was nervous. But this made me feel a bit relieved because I wasn't the only one feeling a little jittery.

"Thanks for asking me out, by the way. It would've been pretty awkward with these two." I said, breaking the silence as I pointed to the pair hat stood next to us.

He let out a breathy laugh, "Thanks for coming with me. I'm really glad it was you that Yuta set me up with."
