lollipop and gum

it's short and sweet

keith was on the street curb, watching the occasional car pass by. he was chewing some gum, specifically the good ol' bubblegum flavor. but then some other guy was walking down the sidewalk towards him.

he had a lollipop in his mouth, and smiled at keith as he came closer. when he reached the raven haired boy, he sat down with him, offering a cherry lollipop.

"want one? i bought way too much when i was shopping"

"sure."

keith took the lollipop, spit his gum out on the street, and unwrapped the candy. he looked over at the boy, and then took out his last piece of gum while placing the lollipop in his mouth.

"My last piece. but i think i like this lollipop better"

"sure."

the boy then took out a lollipop stick from his mouth, threw it on the street, and popped the gum in his mouth.

now both boys sat on the street curb, chewing and licking their lollipops and gum pieces.

"what's your name?"

"lance. yours? must be edgy with that mullet of yours!"

"oh fuck off! it's keith..."

"keith..."

"what? too e d g y for you?"

"nah, just sounds e m o"

"bitch!"

and the two had a wonderful night at the street corner.
