Accidentally In "Luv" (Completed)

Chapter 16

“Well guys I have to leave” I say as I pick my bag up.

“Already?” Niall asks.

“Hmm yes, actually I’m driving back to Manchester tonight” I reply.

After bidding all the guys and Trisha and Waliyha goodbye Zayn walks me to my car. I open the bug’s door and then turn around to look at Zayn.

“Thanks for inviting me Zayn. I really had a lot of fun” I say

“I knew you’d have” he winks back at me.

“Bye” I say as I get inside the car.

“I’ll see you soon” he says and waves.

I smile and shake my head, yeah like that’s gonna happen again. It’s not every day that you get to meet One Direction I think internally as I drive away. I pass by Ryan’s restaurant and decide to check up on him remembering his message from the morning.

I park my bug and get out. I make my way inside the restaurant but Ryan’s nowhere in sight. I wonder whether Ryan decided to ditch his job which was unusual as he normally didn’t do that. I ask the man seated at the counter about him and he informs me that Ryan’s in the kitchen. After explaining my relationship with Ryan he allows me to go in the kitchen. As I push open the huge kitchen doors I find Ryan talking to a brunette. He’s wearing a light blue dress shirt, sleeves rolled up to the elbows with dark pants. I wait by the door till he finishes talking and then address him.

“Ryan” I say.

He turns around and his face lights up and then slowly changes into a worried expression. His deep blue eyes staring back at me with an emotion I fail to recognize.

“Ellie” he states back.

“Hi you wanted to talk?” I say trying to make conversation.

“Yes but not here. How about the park?” he asks

“Sure” I agree

We walk to the park in complete silence. It wasn’t a long walk as the park was just two blocks away from the restaurant. We sit at one of the cold stone benches. It’s 6 in the evening, the park is silent with not many people. There is just the sound of the cool breeze blowing causing the leaves on the trees to shuffle.

“I’m sorry” Ryan softly says.

I look at him trying to read his mind.

“I messed up” he looks ahead and continues “I didn’t mean to scare you. I know it was stupid of me to assume that you would feel the same way about me. I should have never said it. I’m really sorry Eliza”

“It’s ok Ryan. You’re my best friend, and I didn’t want things to be awkward between us. And I’m not gonna lie to you” I pause to get his full attention.

“You’re a nice guy, infact your the best guy I’ve ever seen. But I’m not sure whether I like you like that or not so I don’t wanna promise you one thing and not be able to give it to you. And that’s why I said that I need time” I say finally feeling relieved that I told him the truth.

“I think I can understand that” he says as a small smile lights up his face. Seeing him smile I too feel good.

“And I’m sorry too..for walking out on you” I say sheepishly.

“I guess I deserved that for being a jerk” he nods and grins.

“I guess that too” I say and smile.

And just like that we were back on the track, we were best friends once again with all the awkwardness gone down the drain. And I was more than happy about that.

“So your leaving tonight?” he asks

“ Yeah.. and I should get going now” I nod and reply as I check its already 7pm. I get up from the bench and he gets up too.

“Take care Ryan” I say as I hug him and turn around.

No sooner do I take a few steps away from him than I hear Ryan calling my name again

“Hey Ellie!”

I turn around and raise my eyebrows.

 “I’ll be waiting” he says as he shoves his hands in his pant pockets.

I bite my lower lip and smile at him.

A/n: Soooo now everything's cleared up. I think the story is ending... woah wait up a min she didn't end up with either guys!!  So there's still more to come..:P
