I’m sitting in my apartment in Manchester staring at my laptop screen. MS Word is opened and a blank sheet is staring back at me. Oh yeah!! What sad a life I live, it’s Friday night and I’m on a date with myself while everyone else is having the time of their lives and enjoying their youth. But I have to write an essay for my History project and submit it on Monday, but my mind has completely shut down. We had been given a week to do it but me being me kept avoiding it till the last moment. And so here I’m getting frustrated by every passing second. But hey, there was other college work that I had too and plus I have friends and family too! I have a couple of weeks off from this weekend so yeah unbelievable that I drove back from Bradford to Manchester just to attend one week of college. Ok I admit I’m a bit of a geek and couldn’t afford missing college.

It’s been a week since Adam’s wedding, a week since I met Zayn Malik and One Direction and a week since Ryan asked me out. That surely was one eventful weekend. I snap out of my thoughts as my phone beeps. I close the word document and shut my laptop, as no use pushing my brain into overload. I’ll write the essay tomorrow morning.

I pick up my phone from the bedside table and check the message.

“Don’t think so much.

Sweetdreams

-Ryan”

I smile at how his message coincides with what I was actually doing.

“Goodnight Ryan J -Eliza”

I jump into my bed and pull the covers when my phone buzzes again- another text from Ryan awaits me.

“Hey you’re coming for the break back?”

“Yep I’ll be coming mostly.”

I reply and fall off to sleep as soon as my head hits the soft pillows.
