Chapter 16

Thursday (9:32 PM)

Sana POV

We finally finished our practice and now we were walking down the street to go home.

The members walked ahead of me and I was walking behind all of them.

I noticed that Tzuyu was walking alone again. I wanted to walk beside her but I don't think I have the courage to because of what happened earlier. Maybe she'll move away from me again.

I think I should tell someone about my feelings.

I think Jihyo would be a good choice because she is our leader.

So.. I ran up to the members and ran past Tzuyu to go walk along with Jihyo.

I clinged to her arm and smiled at her.

"Why unnie?" Jihyo asked while smiling.

"I have something to tell you later. I'll tell you later at the dorm." I said happily to Jihyo.

She just chuckled while we continued walking to our dorm.

After a few more minutes of walking, we finally reached our dorm, and as soon as we entered everybody just turned into balls of goop. Everybody was literally everywhere... just lying down.

I chuckled at this sight and pulled Jihyo to lie down on the floor too.

"Will you tell me now unnie?" Jihyo asked as she turned her head to me while smiling.

"Hmm... maybe later." I answered while beaming a smile at her.

I actually wanted to tell Jihyo already, but everybody was still everywhere and I didn't want them to hear about what I was gonna say to Jihyo, especially Tzuyu.

Everybody started to stand up and head to their rooms, even Tzuyu. I was about to go to my room too but Jihyo pulled me to her room instead. She made me sit down on her bed while she was sitting beside me.

"Spill unnie. What is it?" Jihyo asked me.

"Uhh.. you promise not to freak out?" I asked her while fiddling with my fingers.

"Unnie. You have ears. You have a tail. You can turn into a dog. What else will make me freak out?" Jihyo told me flatly.

I chuckled at her answer and just looked into her eyes with sincerity.

"I have feelings.. for one of our m-members." I uttered shyly while looking down at my hands.

"You really think that will surprise me unnie?" Jihyo asked while patting my head.

"Yea. I thought it would surprise you." I answered.

"Well. Who is it unnie?" Jihyo asked again.

"It's.. uh.. it's Tzuyu." I mumbled.

"Oh.. okay." Jihyo answered flatly.

"That's it? Okay? Aren't you gonna interrogate me?" I asked her bewildered at her reaction.

"Nothing really surprises me anymore after what you showed us earlier today." Jihyo told me.

"Oh okay. I just wanted to tell you this because you're our leader. And.. because I need someone to talk to.. about these feelings. Like.. I feel like I have a chance at Tzuyu but I also feel like I don't have a chance. She makes me feel safe and miserable at the same time. I just don't know how to explain it." I told her frustrated.

"I.. I'm falling for her. And I'm trying my best to show her my love but.. I think she won't look at me as 'More than Friends'." I added sulkily.

"Unnie. Honestly? I think I have a plan." Jihyo told me.
