Chapter 14

Thursday (4:09 PM)

Sana POV

"You shouldn't hide your ears and tail too often. You look cuter with them." Tzuyu uttered and went out of the room.

I instantly felt my temperature rising because of what she said.

She complimented me! She called me cute! I felt really happy when she said that.

But, I was already happy before she even said that. All because the members accepted me for who I am.

"They will accept you for who you are Sana. We're family. And family never leaves anyone behind."

I remembered what Nayeon-unnie said.

"I guess we really are a family now." I said to myself.

I transformed back into my human form and wore my clothes.

I went out of my room and saw Tzuyu sitting on the couch. I guess the other members aren't ready yet.

I sat beside Tzuyu and linked my arm with hers.

"Tzuyu-ah! Thank you for the compliment!" I said to her as I felt my cheeks becoming warm.

"Okay unnie." Tzuyu muttered without looking at me, she just kept looking at her phone.

I pouted and removed my arm from hers. I took out my phone and opened the camera app. I positioned my phone away from me so that me and Tzuyu were in the frame.

"Tzuyu-ah, smile!" I told her.

She looked at me and then looked at the camera. Tzuyu flashed a cute and shy smile while I put on a big and beaming smile. I took the photo and showed it to Tzuyu.

"So cute!" I uttered.

Tzuyu didn't respond, she just kept staring at her phone again. I pouted and looked at the image. Tzuyu was so cute in the picture. I decided to make this picture my homescreen.

I giggled and noticed someone sit beside me. I looked up and saw Jeongyeon-unnie looking at me.

"Why are you giggling to yourself?" She asked while smiling at me.

"Nothing." I answered while locking my phone and putting it inside my pocket.

"Let's go guys!" Jihyo shouted.

We all nodded and started to head out for the practice room.

We reached the practice room and dropped our bags on the side.

"Let's start!" Jihyo shouted again.

"You don't have to shout!" Nayeon-unnie said while shouting.

"You don't have to shout too unnie!" Chaeyoung shouted.

Everybody started laughing at their hilarious argument as we started to go into our positions for our dance.

We stopped laughing when we heard the music start.

We danced until it reached around 5:30 PM.

"Guys! Break!" Jihyo shouted.

I wasn't in the mood to eat so I stayed behind in the practice room and practiced by myself.

I was alone in the practice room while I was dancing until an idea popped into my head.

I remembered Momo teaching me a dance not too long ago. It was this song "Coming of Age Ceremony".

I quickly went to the sound booth and registered the song.

I positioned myself at the center of the room and I waited for the song to start.

I heard the first few beats of the song and started dancing. The rhythmic beats started to fill my ears and I smiled as I executed the steps. I flushed out any other noise that I was hearing... I was only focused on the music that was playing inside the room.

I felt my sweat trickle down my neck down to my body until it reached the floor.

A dance break was coming up so I finished the previous moves as I readied myself for the dance break.

I tried to lift my right foot but I ended up slipping and losing my balance.

I tried to regain my balance but I still felt myself slowly falling to the ground.

I shielded my body with my arms and closed my eyes as I felt myself falling to meet the wet and cold floor, but instead, I felt arms catch me from my momentum of falling to the ground.

I opened my eyes and my eyes met big brown orbs.

I felt a sense of Déjà Vu.

As I looked back into Tzuyu's brown orbs, I couldn't help my ears from popping out of their places.

"O-oh Tzu-"

Before I could finish my sentence, I felt a pair of lips crash against mine.

She was kissing me.

Tzuyu moved her lips against mine and it wasn't long until I started to move mine against hers.

Our lips were like puzzle pieces, like they were meant to fit with each other. Tzuyu supported my back and helped me to stand straight without breaking our kiss.

This kiss was sweet, literally and metaphorically.

Our kiss felt like it was full of love.

We kept on kissing until I felt her hands slowly reach my ears and slowly rub them.

"Mmhm~" I couldn't help myself but moan in her mouth because of the intense sensitivity coming from my ears.

We parted from each other to catch our breath.

Tzuyu leaned her forehead against mine and just smiled.

"Unnie." She whispered.

"Yes Tzuyu?" I whispered as well.

"Unnie.." she kept repeating.

"Why Tzuyu? Is something wrong?" I told her while moving my forehead away from hers.

"Unnie."

"Unnie."

"Unnie!"

Tzuyu faded infront of me and I saw her again holding me in the same position as when I fell.

"Unnie! Are you okay?" Tzuyu asked.

Imagination? Was that just my imagination?

Tzuyu suddenly pulled me and forced me to stand up straight.

"Unnie? Do you need help? Your ears are out, and your face is red. Are you tired? Sick?" Tzuyu bombarded me with questions as she stuck her hand on my face to check my temperature.

I guess that was just my imagination.

"I-I'm fine Tzuyu.. y-you can l-let go of me now." I told her as I stuttered because of embarassment.

Tzuyu didn't let go of me though. She kept a worried face plastered on her as she kept on touching my face.

I felt one of her hands reach my head and rub my ears.

"Mhmn~ T-tzuyu don't t-touch there." I said as I closed my eyes and forced myself to part away from Tzuyu.

I opened my eyes and saw Tzuyu trying to hide the blush on her cheeks. She walked to me and quickly held my hand and pulled me out of the practice room.

"I feel like you're sick. I'll text the members that we'll go home early." Tzuyu told me while still pulling me.

"B-but I'm fine Tzuyu. Seriously." I answered.

Tzuyu stopped and turned to look at me.

"No. Let's go home."
