*three months later*
Over the last three months, EXO had released a couple of new songs which are, "History" and "Mama." These would be the songs that they would be performing at their showcase along with their teasers. I attended most of their rehearsals and we became closer. My studies have improved a lot and I have been doing well. I still practice my dancing daily and I have been told that there is a chance for me to be a back up dancer in a music video. Exciting, eh?
Tonight is the big night! The EXO showcase. Thousands of EXO lovers would be watching. All of their hardwork would be paid off. This is the moment to show all that they have done for the past few months.
After I was done with my classes, I walked over to the studio. Sure enough, they were all their practicing for tonight. They had a few hours before it was time to get ready for the showcase. Everything was perfected. I couldn't be any prouder!
"KANA!!! TONIGHT IS THE BIG NIGHT! YOU'LL BE WATCHING IN THE AUDIENCE, FRONT ROW," Chanyeol shouted in a happy tone.
"YOU KNOW IT! DO A GOOD JOB TONIGHT!" I replied enthusiastically.
I went back to my room and got prepared for the showcase. I took a shower and got dressed in a somewhat fancy outfit. Jeans and a blouse were okay for this showcase, right? I hope so. It was 6:00 and the showcase started at 7:30. I thought that it would be better to leave now in order to avoid large crowds.
I made my way down to my car. Oh yeah, I got my driver's license hahaha! I drove to the destination and parked my car. I was lucky that there were a few spaces left.
After parking, I walked towards the auditorium where the showcase would be held. I didn't think that there would already be THIS many people! There were at lease a 700 of them already waiting. I had to stand in this line?! But within a few seconds, somebody in hoodie and black sunglasses walked towards me. Without saying anything, the man took me behind the auditorium. We reached the back door where EXO was getting prepared.
The man took of his sunglasses and hoodie. OH! It was Kai! I didn't even recognize him.
"Let's go inside so you don't have to stand in that long line hehe," he said.
"Oh cool! Thanks!" I said. I really was thankful that I didn't have to stand in that huge line.
As I went in all of the EXO members turned to me and started greeting me excitedly. They must have been happy, yet nervous to be performing tonight. I hope that they would do a good job.
I went to the stage where a huge red curtain hung. I looked out. Everyone had started to file in and take their seats.
"Oh you guys! They're coming in! I'm gonna take my seat now!"
"OKAY" they all replied.
I tried my best not be noticed walking down the stairs of the stage. Luckily, everyone was too busy chattering amongst themselves.
I took my seat. WOW, this was a great view. Whoever bought seats to sit up here must have paid a lot. Ahhh....what time is it? 7:10. Oh, it should be starting soon.
After 20 minutes of waiting, all of the auditorium lights went off and the dark stage lights turned on shining at the stage floor. Thousands of screams could be heard. I almost lost my hearing...
"OPPA! OPPA! SARANGHAE!"
"EXO SARANGHAE! I'M YOUR NUMBER 1 FAN!"
"OH MY GOD KAI I LOVE YOU!!!!!!"
These fans are freaking crazy. I thought that was a lot of screaming. EXO then walked on to the stage and those fangirls started to scream even louder. I could see video cameras and fansigns waving all over the place.
"We Are! ONE! EXO IMNIDA!" EXO shouted together.
They started to introduce themselves and when they were done, History started to play. EXO-K started to sing and dance first. Afterwards, EXO-M started to sing as well. Towards the end of the song, they both sang and danced together.
EXO was interviewed by the host and answered questions from fans over the internet as well. Their teasers started to play and one by one, they danced to their teasers. I was so proud that I had choreographed most of this showcase.
The showcase ended and everyone started to exit the auditorium. I went back up to the stage where EXO would be. I walked back stage and EXO started cheering.
"We did it! We did it! We did it! This is all thanks to our hard work, and Kana!" Kris said praising me.
"You guys did a great job! I'm so proud of you!" I said almost crying tears of joy. I held it in though!
We all went into a group hug. D.O, Suho and Lay put me on their shoulders and started to chant and cheer! I was so proud at the moment. This would be the highlight of my life. I will continue my journey towards dancing, and hope my friendship with EXO will only become stronger.
