"Getting in?"
I was brought back to reality.
"Um.....ye-yes," I stammered stupidly and walked in the elevator.
I placed my back against the cool, wooden elevator wall. My heart started to pound at the speed of lightning. I have never been this anxious and nervous.
"I haven't seen you here before. Are you new?" one of them asked.
"Y-yes. I'm Kana. I just came today," I said softly.
They started introducing themselves one by one. My feet were rooted to the elevator floor and my hands were clenched in fists.
"You can eat with us today! It's always nice to meet new people like you," Chanyeol said in a bright and happy tone which made me feel a little more at ease. Then the elevator doors opened.
A bunch of girls started running towards us and started to scream. I flinched at the sudden burst of energy around me. EXO-K and I shoved our ways to get past the screaming girls. Was it like this all the time?
By the time all of the commotion was over, it was time for dinner. We all headed towards the cafeteria and everything calmed down. There was a shit load of people. I never thought that there would be so many people here.
After grabbing dinner, we took a seat in the corner of the cafeteria where not too many people were.
"So, what is your talent? Are you a dancer? Singer?" Kai asked me with a smirk.
"I'm a dancer...." I managed to whisper.
"You don't have to be so scared. We're your friends!" D.O said to me.
"Oh okay....so...why are you sitting here with me? I mean, I'm not popular or anything. Don't you sit with other people?"
"You seemed like a nice person!" Sehun replied.
"Oh really? Thank you." I said somewhat shocked.
After dinner was over, we headed out back to the dorms. Suho, the leader, told me to visit the dance studio tomorrow morning. It's not like I could reject, right? Who would turn down famous people? I agreed and we split of to our own rooms.
Once I got into my room, I checked my phone. It was 9:00. It shouldn't be too late to call home.
I dialed the house number and my sister picked up.
"Hello?"
"Hey! It's me, Kana!"
"Oh hey, Kana! We were just about to go to bed. You're on speaker right now. Mom can hear you too."
"Hi mom! Is everything okay?"
"Of course! There's one less mouth to feed!" she jokingly said. We all laughed.
"Well, I better get going now, I have to go somewhere to go tomorrow! Night! I love you!"
"BYE, KANA!!!" my sister and mother both screamed in unison.
What a great day at SM. It's only my first day and I've met celebrities. Could it get any better than this? I fell into a deep sleep on the soft and cozy bed. I would have an excellent day tomorrow.
