" Hi Vic". His words sent chills down my spine. I was thrown back into the past in an instant.
It was the first day of eleventh grade. "Oh come on Vic, its the beginning of the school year party. We have to go. I was thinking of going shopping today. You wanna come?". " I don't know " I said as I pondered over the thought. "Seriously, you were the most popular girl in middle school, no party was complete without you. And now it seems as if you want to lose your status". Yeah I didn't want that either.
Suddenly, it grew quite. Isobel was looking at something or someone behind me. I turned around to see the most ravishing boy I had ever laid my eyes on. And he was walking without a care in the world, towards me. "Excuse me", it took me some seconds before the words registered in my head. He repeated. I just moved aside without saying a word. Their was pin drop silence in the hall. And all I could hear was the blue eyed boy's soft breathing. He put some books in his locker, looked at me, gave me a smile and went his way. I was surprised to my bones.
"What the hell just happened?" Isobel questioned looking toward me. " Did that extremely hot guy just smile at you". i just nodded while looking for words to answer her.
"I have known you for 10 years and you still never cease to amaze me Victoria Fields".
Present Day
"Earth to Victoria" said the voice i once yearned for.
