Chapter 18- Best christmas ever

Emily's POV

Days turned into months and soon it was December 2014. Me and nicky have been together for just over a year and are still going strong. Were both 18 now too. They continued xfactor in January, nicky made it to the final two but Sam Bailey won. I was really happy for her, she deserved it so much. Me and nicky moved to London together and got a house. I was signed to Syco, which is Simon Cowells record label, and I had an album coming out soon. And if my year hadn't been good enough, I was going to be a supporting act for the 5sos tour, next year.

It was Christmas Eve and to say i was excited was an understatement. Me and nicky were currently sitting outside in our back garden, with Luke friend and his girlfriend, Sarah, watching the snow fall around us. Nicky had been acting weird all day and it was beginning to worry me. I asked Luke and Sarah about it but the just shrugged me of and said they didn't know.

I shivered, due to the coldness of the British snow. Nicky noticed, so wrapped his arms around me, pulling me into his chest. We all sat there for hours, just talking about the crazy things that we were gonna do in the new year to come. I checked my watch, it read '11:32pm'

"Guys it's like.." I hesitated, working out the exact amount of time until Christmas day, "28 minutes until Christmas, I'm gonna go to bed"

"Yeah, let's all go" Luke said, standing and helping Sarah up, they were cute. We all went upstairs, me and nicky said goodnight to luke and Sarah, then went to bed.

*The next morning aka Christmas:D*

I woke up slowly and sleepily. I rolled over and fell out the bed with a thud. I groaned but then I realised what day it was. I shot up to my feet and jumped onto the bed, wait a minute, where's nicky? Confused, I walked out our shared bedroom and down the stairs to see him propped on the couch, next to Luke and Sarah, fiddling with a small box.

"Merry christmas!" I shouted, cheerfully.

"Merry christmas" they all replied,

"Can I speak to you alone, in the back garden?" Nicky said to me,

"I'm in my pyjamas though" I laughed

"It'll be fine"

"Okay.." He stood up, I noticed him exchange looks with Sarah and Luke, which caused me to be even more confused. I shrugged it off, following him into the back garden. He stopped and got down on one knee, opening the box to reveal a beautiful ring. I gasped and he smiled,

"Emi, I love you so so much and I ant imagine my life without you. You make me smile whenever your near me. I never want to lose you, ever, so I guess what I'm trying to say is that I want to spend the rest of my life with you, I know were only 18 but who care, if we love each other then that's enough so will you marry me?"

I felt a hot year roll down my cheek,

"Yes" was all I could say before I leant down and kissed him, whilst he slipped the ring into my finger. We pulled away and I notice him giving Luke and Sarah, who were at the window, a thumbs up. So that's what all that was about.
