Emily's POV
As the electric shocks kept coming, the more energy I got. Eventually, my eyes shot open, only this time, I was actually awake. I heard nicky and Nicole shouting for me but I didn't have enough energy to reply, only enough to stay awake. I was surrounded by nurses and doctors, who were hooking me up to all sorts of machines and drips. I felt a seriously painful pounding in my head, causing me to groan in pain. I felt a sharp pain in my upper arm, I turned to see a doctor jabbing a needle into me and soon the pain was gone. I felt my eyelids close again, except this time I was only sleeping.
*2 hours later*(still Emily's POV)
My eyes fluttered open and were met with nickys.
"Hey, your awake" he said, softly
"Yeah, what happened?" I said, I was curious to know what had actually happened to me and why I nearly died..
Nicky explained everything, then broke down crying.
"Hey, don't cry! I'm okay now and like you just said, Lily's going to jail for attempted murder, and so are her workers! She cant hurt us anymore"
"Yeah.." he said, wiping his tears, before leaning in and pecking my lips.
"I love you"
"I love you too"
*a week later*(Still Emily's POV,haha)
"Merry Christmas mum" I said, handing her a present.
"Thank you em" she said, opening it to reveal a box of chocolates.
*ringring*
My phone rang, I checked the caller i.d, it was nicky. I went into the freezing, snowy back garden and answered,
"Hey nicky, merry christmas"
"Merry Christmas babe"
We talked for roughly ten minutes about what we got etc,
"So, I was wondering, do you wanna spend New Years together?" he said,
"I'd love too" I said, smiling.
"Good, look I'd better go, my wee sister wants me!" he chuckled, "bye sweetheart, merry Christmas"
"Bye nicky, merry Christmas to you too" I said, hanging up the phone and going back inside and the snowy blizzard got heavier.
