Hazel's diary [TFiOS]

Isaac

I promised to visit Isaac in my last diary entry. So I did. I decided to walk to him. It felt good to go outside once in a while. There's nothing wrong with getting some 'fresh air', I guess. Although I can't really breathe in the 'fresh air' since I have Phillip.

 As I was walking, I looked around me. I saw children playing on the playground as their parents stood at the sides.  

This could have been us (in the future), Augustus, and I looked upon the blue sky. 

We do not realize how precious other people are, until they are gone. 

I knocked on his door and his mom opened. His mom looked at me, surprisingly. She hugged me, tightly and said: "Oh Hazel, it was such a long time ago when we...you know..met. How is it going? I know it must have been hard.. since you know.."

"I'm fine. Is it okay if I come in?"

"Of course sweetie! Isaac is downstairs, gaming with his friend."

I went in and got to go downstairs. 

"Who is there?" Isaac said.

"It's Hazel, Hazel from Support Group."

"Ah, Hazel. Meet my friend James."

James stood up and walked to me. I introduced myself and he introduced himself. I took a glance at James, and I must say that James looked quite similar to Augustus; he had that mahogany brown hair which Augustus also had. He smiled at me, politely. 

 Could this be the start of something new?
