Pandora

Chapter 1 - The Beginning

"Creedius."

"Creedius!"

"Whatttt.." I said groaning, opening my eyes, my light was on and a figure was standing at the end of my bed.

"You need to get up, it's almost time for you to leave, the train will leave at 8:00."

I looked to my right, my phone was lying on the desk next to my bed. I picked it up and clicked the button on the side, the screen turned on showing that the time was 7:03 .

"Ohh shit!" I yelled jumping up.

"Patrick can you make me a sandwich?" I asked, running to my closet. I looked back realizing Patrick was already gone. I got dressed quickly, throwing on a black shirt and jeans. It was at least a 40 minute walk to the train station, so I had to be in a rush or I wouldn't make it and the second train came at 10:00 and that means I would miss signups. I walked out my room, my bare feet stepped off the tile of the hallway. I heard Patrick cutting something with a knife, Patrick was like a dad to me, he was around 40 and took me in when my parents left. I walked further down the hallway and into the bathroom, I brushed my short, brown hair which was sticking up in all directions. Patrick had a decent sized house, considering he lived in the pretty bad parts of Pandora. I brushed my teeth and went towards my room, going to my desk and grabbing a few books. I quickly placed them in my brown book bag and put it over my shoulder. I finally put on my shoes and hurried to the kitchen, Patrick had made the sandwich alongside it was an apple.

"Creedius." I turned, hearing Patrick.

"Yeah?" I said placing the food in my bag.

"Don't forget your suitcase." He said.

"Crap." I ran to his room and grabbed it. He stood there near his bed with his hands behind his back, I stared at him confused and pulled my suitcase towards the door.

"I have something for you." He said smirking.

"Can you please hurry, I don't want to be late." I said anxiously, looking at my phone, the time had read 7:12.

"Do not rush me or you will get nothing." He said sternly while still smiling, he pulled his hands to the front of his body showing a little container about the size of a toaster but was made of wood not metal.

"What is it?" I asked confused, grabbing it from his hands.

"Open it on the train and you will see, just be careful."

"Ok," I said, heading towards the door out of his room.

"Creedius, don't forget once you get there call me." He said.

"Good luck." He added.

"I will, and thanks" I replied, turning back and waving. He was already lying on the bed probably to sleep.

I walked out of the front door and into another hallway with burgundy and beige carpet, alongside the wall was two more doors, one on each side of Patrick's door. I walked to the right and then took a left, and on my right was the elevator. I clicked on the button and a ding went off, to the left and right were two more elevators. The building occupied around 1,000 people which was nothing compared to the skyscrapers in Pandora's capital, they dwarfed this entire building.

"Ding" went the elevator as its doors opened. I pulled my suitcase onto the empty elevator, it clicked on the gap between the floor and the elevator, dinging again as the doors shut. I pressed the button for the first floor, the building had around 130 floors while some buildings in the capital have about 900 to 1,500, some even more with the assistance of earth users. We're able build some pretty, enormous structures, for example the wall around Pandora is said to be 100 feet, 200 feet tall, and 50 feet thicc. The elevator dinged again and I was on the bottom floor, closing behind me as I walked towards the door. The receptionist area was covered with people sitting around, some stared at me with dirty looks and glares. A man at least 7'2" looked at me and smiled wickedly, he was accompanied by another person, a girl. It was rather hard to tell considering she was shorter than him by at least a foot and a half.
