Dearest Diary,
I am really sad. Really!
I have lost contact with some of my family and friends.
They have left the city and decided to find refuge elsewhere.
Their phones no longer work and we are told that they won't share their address due to they might be found by the government.
They know the government might not do anything to them, but they would rather be safe in the country or somewhere else.
I, however, would like to make sure they are well and not hurt!
Hopefully they get to the place they want to get to in peace and with no harm.
My grandma has decided to join us and will stay with us instead of moving out of the city.
No one actually knows what is happening throughout Syria. No one.
All we know is that the country is in a civil war because of the government.
Maybe other countries got involved?
Signed with a bit of fear,
Haitham (Signature inserted!)
p.s. Only a few of my friends remain.
