Firefly (Eddie Redmayne Fanfiction)

Chapter 3:

The next day, I walked into the company humming a lively tune. Like something you would hear on a Disney princess movie.

"Someone sounds awfully happy this morning." sang my co worker, Lydia. Lydia is a journalist in the company. We were cubicle neighbors before I got promoted to do interviews. now I had my own office. Lydia and I were pretty good friends though.

"Oh, Lydia, I had the most amazing time yesterday. I interviewed Eddie Redmayne the other day, and during the interview he put his number in my phone. So yesterday morning, I get a call and he says he cleared my whole work day and to meet him at the park. We spent the whole day together yesterday. It was absolutely wonderful " I explained with a huge grin.

"You don't mean famous actor, Eddie Redmayne do you?" Lydia said with her jaw hanging down to the floor.

"The very same. But keep it to yourself, okay?" I said and she nodded. I continued on to my office. I sat at my desk and looked over all the papers that had been put on my desk for reviewing. I was to call down to the printer on the second floor and order 20,000 copies of this weeks issue to be printed immediately. Once that was done, I had to schedule interviews for the rest of the week I had to call and set up dates and times. My boss had given me a list of names and phone numbers of people to try to get. I had the director from Chester Zoo. They have over 11,000 animals and 400 species. I had a director for a new film coming out. And lastly, I had an up and coming author coming in.

By the to time I finished that, it was time for my lunch break. I took my purse and my phone and went down to my car. As I got in my car, my phone buzzed.

New Message: from Eddie

Hello, lovely. What are you doing for lunch?

To Eddie

hey(: I was just on my way to the cafe to grab a sandwich.

From Eddie

which cafe?

To Eddie

the one on shire boulevard. why?

From Eddie

meet you there in 5 minutes.

To Eddie

sounds good.

I got to the cafe and sure enough, Eddie was inside at a table with two sandwiches and drinks. I came in and sat down. "Hi Eddie" I smiled.

" I ordered for you already. I hope that's alright. I got us both just regular turkey sandwiches with lettuce and tomato. I got coke for us both also " he said with hope I'm his voice.

" That's actually perfect. Thanks." I said genuinely. "You caught me just as I left the office."

"Yeah, I had a wonderful time yesterday and I wanted to see you again." he said with a smirk. I smile and took a bite out of my sandwich.

"So what are you up to today?" I asked.

"Nothing really. Burberry wants me to come in for a photo shoot in a couple hours and after that, I plan on going home to watch some TV or movies. What's your plan today?" he asked.

"Definitely nothing as cool as doing a photo shoot." I laughed." No,but I've got to go back to work until 4 and then after that, I was just going to go home and do the same thing ." I replied.

"Well how about I come pick you up at 5 and we can watch movies together?" he asked.

"Only on one condition. " I agreed.
