As I walked down the street, I couldn't help but feel upset. It was Troy and I's last night in Atlanta for AGP weekend and for me, it was ending on a shitty note. Tonight, was the Official AGP After Party and I for sure wasn't going to be attending it.
James Coleman (Me)
We'd attended the picnic earlier this afternoon (with Andre, a Sigma that I met at last year's picnic) and we'd all gone back to my hotel room for a quickie. As amazing as the sex was, that left Troy and I very little time to nap, get showered, dressed and grab a quick dinner before pre-gaming with our respective crews. In the midst of trying to make that happen in such a short time-span, I'd managed to leave my driver's license at in the pants that I wore to the picnic. Unfortunately, I didn't realize that I didn't have my license on me until we were in line and at the venue (595 North).
"Troy.... I can't find my ID." I said as we approached the front of the line. There were only 5 people ahead of us. Which gave me less than 5 minutes to figure this shit out.
"Damn, when all did you pull it out today?" He asked as he pulled out his own wallet to make sure he had his own. He quickly found his and let out a sigh of relief.
Just then, I heard one of the party promoters (that was working the door) yell out "Make sure you have your ticket and ID out!" I was fucked.
"I can't remember. We only went to the picnic." I said, checking my wallet a second time. I looked up at Troy, who apparently had a lightbulb moment.
"James, I think you left them in the pants that you wore to the picnic." Troy said. I instantly groaned, as I'd haphazardly left the jeans on the floor after our sex rendezvous. I didn't want to wear the pants that I'd been sweating in all day, so I'd switched. I couldn't believe this shit was happening.
"Fuck, what am I going to do?" I whispered to him. I knew that the club bouncer wasn't going to let me in without an ID.
"Shit, I don't know what to tell you. Maybe you can go get some ass or something." Troy said, instantly pissing me off.
Troy had been in one of his 'moods' ever since our threesome with Andre earlier this afternoon. Yeah, it was my idea for us to all get down together, but I didn't tell him that I had minor history with Andre until afterwards. I didn't tell him because it didn't seem like an important detail, but Troy felt differently. I didn't feel obligated to telling him anything, as he wasn't my man, but I guess he felt differently since we fucked around on the regular.
"Man, shut that shit up, we're out in public." I whispered to him as we approached the front of the line. I was annoyed that he'd even said that, but sadly, he wasn't too far off on what I'd planned on doing if I couldn't get into 295 North.
We were the next people up in line and I instantly tried to endear myself to one of the party promoters as I showed him my ticket and explained my dilemma to him. When I finished explaining my situation, the party promoter immediately told me that they weren't letting anyone in without identification.
