I hopped out of my Uber and I could see the line was already packed to get into the picnic.
I contemplated doing the right thing and heading to the back of the line until I spotted James standing towards the front of the line talking to some light skinned pretty boy. Without a second thought, I walked towards them and cut the line (which resulted in a ton of people complaining). Before I could sneak up on him, James looked over his shoulder and spotted me.
"What's good my nigga!" James said as he dapped me up. His friend nodded at me and acknowledged me as we hugged.
James Coleman
"I'm good now that I'm here. What about you man?" I said as I pulled back from the hug.
"I'm better now that you're here. Anyways, Andre this is my homeboy Troy, he's an Alpha from my school." James said. We both shook each other's hands. I wasn't sure if he was down, but Troy was pretty easy on the eyes. He had that little bit of 'softness' that I liked in my men.
"Nice to meet you man." I said to Troy.
"Same to you man, I've heard a lot about you." Troy said with smirk. In that moment, I could tell that he got down and something told me that him and James were more than just 'homies'. I was sure that I'd figure that out at some point.
