'D-Dylan is in c-coma ?'

'We're not 100% sure. It might a be unconsciousness. If it lasts for more than a week, it'll become a coma, which is probable.' The doctor says.

'You knew him?' My mom asks.

'Not really, but we went on that ride together?'

'Oh' was my mom's reply.

'Mom, that ride.'

'What do you mean?'

'The purple ride'

And with that sentence, my mother's face goes pale, followed with my father turning a slight tinge of purple.

'Honey, you had to go on that ride?' My mother looks at me with a sigh, biting her lip, trying to prevent her from bursting into tears from this and from the memory of him.

'Mom, you know I had to.' I look at her in the eyes.

'So will Dylan ever get okay?' I ask.

'Aren't you worried about yourself?' The doctor says making me wince.

'Yes, but my mind tells me that it feels wrong to not worry about him, to not think about what will happen to him.
Because we both faced the trauma together and now we must face the consequences together.'
