Chapter 2 partner killer

Shinji was sitting down on the couch reflecting on the most saddest moment in his life, code:016 Hiro has failed. He and his partner Naomi have failed the test that will make them into parasite, his thoughts are interrupted when Ichigo, leader of squad 13 comes in.

Ichigo:"Still sad, Shinji?"

Shinji:(Sad tone)"I don't know what to say, my best friend just failed and I was looking forward of working together"

Shinji begins to cry because he hates being alone. Ichigo hugs him to conform him, later Shinji was in his room he removes his glove and he begins to undo the bandages to see his red hand, he looks at his hand with determination and then he makes a fist.

Shinji:'I got to be strong and I'll make sure that Hiro is safe'

In the next day a flying transport ship land on plantation 13, meanwhile in Shinji's room he is sleeping in the most awkward position ever until the alarm clock goes off and he wakes up falling from his bed and hitting the floor.

Shinji:"Ouch"

Shinji puts on his uniform, and he heads to the lunch room where squad 13 was eating already.

Goro:"Sleeping good, Shinji"

Shinji:"I just had the weirdest dream ever last night"

Zorome:"Really, what was it about?"

Shinji:"It was about our time on the garden and it was about, the incident with children disappearing most of the time"

Kokoro:"You should stop thinking about the past, you must think about what are you going to do?"

Shinji:(Nods)"I should start thinking about Hiro, I'm sick worried about him"

Ichigo:"Don't worry I'll handle it"(Smiling at him)"Shinji do you know today is the day..."

Shinji stop eating breakfast, he checks the time and he gets terrified, he grabs a lot of bread and runs off.

Shinji:"I'm going to meet Nana and Dr. Franxx, see you guys later"

Goro:"Ah that guy"

Shinji was running fast through the hallway until he bumps into someone and the bread falls from his hands. When Shinji looks to see, a girl with pink hair, a red uniform and he sees the horns on her head. Shinji thought that this girl could be some special force member he picks up all of the bread.

Shinji:"I'm sorry miss, I'm in a hurry bye!"

The girl stares at Shinji while he runs, she was even more interested on him, because of those crimson eyes.

???:(Smiling)"What an interesting boy"

Shinji was running until he saw Nana, Dr. Franxx and a parasite badly hurt. Nana and the doctor see him.

Dr. Franxx:"Ah, Code:000 is good to see you"

Shinji:"Doctor, Nana is good to see you"(Looks at the parasite)"Who is this?"

Dr. Franxx:"That's code:002 partner, he is being busy as you can see"

Parasite:"So that's code:000?"

Nana:"Shinji, I heard that you did an excellent job at the test"

Shinji:"I did pass, except Hiro and Naomi"

The parasite goes away and Shinji wander where is he going?

Nana:"Ah code:002 did just escape a while back when we came here, he is going to find her"

Later the Three of them go somewhere else to talk about things. Meanwhile the girl with the horns is being guard by men along with her parasite.

Parasite:"I hate when you run off, code:002"
