Chapter Twelve

Kaname's (POV)

I get a call from Robert. "My king the police haven't been coming around anymore I believe it's safe for you two to return home now." Robert says over the phone. "Ok I'll tell her the good news." I say as I hang up and see Nora standing in front of me. "Hey Nora guess what?" I ask her excitedly. "What is it?" She Asks. "We can go back to the mansion the police have stopped looking for you so we're now safe to return." I tell her as she smiles and runs to the bedroom, I chase after her to find her packing her stuff up in her suitcase. "Nora the snow has let up and melted slightly enough to drive we can leave today." I tell her as she finishes packing, I grab her suitcase and carry it out to the car for her as she follows behind and sits in the passenger seat.

I set her stuff in the backseat than I get in the drivers seat and we head to the mansion, A few hours later we arrive to the mansion and Robert greets us as he opens the door for me. "Hello my king how was your vacation?" He Asks sarcastically as I get out of the car. "It was delightful" I say with a smile as I get Nora's suitcase out of the car and carry it to my chambers as Nora follows me, When we get into my chambers Robert knocks on the door. "My king you have a lot of paperwork to get caught up on and you need to introduce Nora to the rest of the coven soon" He tells me as I look over at Nora. "Nora I have to go to my office to do work." I tell her as she pouts at me. "I'll see you tonight." I tell her as I walk out of my chambers and to my office. "I'll talk to the coven later and see what they think about meeting a human." I tell Robert. "Ok my king I'll schedule the conference meeting with the coven." He tells me as he walks out of the room.

Nora's (POV)

I open up my suitcase to unpack. I put everything up and go into the bathroom to take a hot bath, Wish he would spend time with me or let me come with him to his office so I'm not stuck in his chambers alone all day, I strip naked and look into the mirror to see that I've gained some weight from all of those cookies and breakfast, wow I actually have curves now, i can see my light pink eyes, my carmel tan body as the sun hits it through the window making it look like i glow,I stop staring at myself and get into the bathtub that's steaming.

I rub soap all over my body and rinse than I wash my hair with shampoo and conditioner. When I'm done I just stay in the bathtub relaxing, I get out of the bathtub letting the water drain and I wrap a fluffy towel around my body. I weigh myself, I weigh 126 pounds,I look inside my closet to see what I have for pajamas and I see a black silk robe that I put on after I put on my pink paw print underwear.

I sit on the bed flipping the channels on the tv, when is he going to be done working I'm so bored, I look at the clock, ugh it's only three o'clock, I lay on the bed and drift off into sleep. I hear a knock on the door and wake up to answer it. I rub my eyes while yawning and when I open the door I see a woman with a tray of food. "Here ms. This is for you to eat for dinner." She says as she hands the tray to me and walks off, I look up at the clock, it's five o'clock i only slept for two hours, I sit the tray of food on the bed and start eating while watching tv, A few hours later Kaname walks into his Chambers at seven o'clock. "Hey Nora how was your day?" He Asks me as I walk up to him. "Boring." I say with a straight face.

"It was boring for me too I still have a lot of paper work I have to go back and finish tonight." He tells me as I pout at him. "Oh come on don't pout at me I still have to talk with the coven about them meeting you tomorrow." He tells me than kisses my forehead, I lay down next to Kaname in bed as I drift off to sleep.

Kaname's (POV)

I sneak out of my chambers not to wake Nora up and head back to my office to do more paperwork, As I'm signing paper's Robert comes into my office. "Hello my king you have the conference meeting tomorrow late that night so that everyone can be gathered in one spot to talk." He tells me. "Ok thanks Robert I'll be there in the front yard." I tell Robert as he walks out of my office than I get back to my papers.
