The Mysterious Mansion

Chapter Fifteen

(Ok so I completely forgot that Kaname had a meeting with the wolf pack in one month I believe it's been more than one month now so I'll have Kaname write back to the wolf pack explaining why he never showed up for the meeting.)

Nora's (POV)

"Can we go to your chambers?" I ask him but a woman comes into the room and smiles at me. "No you can't leave until you gain your weight back for now you stay in this clinic." She says as I frown at her. "Rosemary this is Nora, Nora this is Rosemary the main nurse that helped save your life. Rosemary checks on my weight and says I'm only 80 pounds and I need to be 100 pounds to be able to leave. He hugs me while I'm laying in the clinic bed and he whispers to me. "Nora I love you so much I'm so glad you're ok." He says as I feel a few of his tears fall on my shoulder. "I love you too Kaname." I say to him as he looks up at me with tear stained cheeks and he suddenly starts to inch closer to me until our lips touch and he sits up straight with a smirk. "I won't go any further until you get better." He says as he holds my hands. Three week later the nurse comes in and asked me to get up I do as she says and she takes me into the hallway to be weighed. "Stand on the scale." She says as I stand on the scale with my heels touching the wall. "Wow you've gained enough weight back to be able to go back home with king Kaname!" She says a bit shocked.

"How much do I weigh?" I ask her and she says that I weigh 102 pounds. I go back into the room where I was staying and look at Kaname with a smile. "Guess what?!" I ask loudly. "What is it?" He Asks concerned. "I get to leave today!!" I say excitedly. "That's great news Nora!" He says as he hugs me and I lean into his hug. "Let's get your stuff packed up" He says as I get my beach bag he brought all my stuff in and start stuffing it with my three weeks worth of clothes. "Nora Adeen O'Connor? " Rosemary asks. "Yes?" I ask her back and she hands me papers to sign. "You need to sign these before you can leave." She says as she walks out of the room. I look over the papers Rosemary gave to me and I see that it says how I cant sue anyone here. I sign everything and give it to Kaname so that he can give it to Rosemary he walks out to go give the papers to Rosemary as I'm left alone to finish packing. I set my beach bag on the clinic bed as I wait for Kaname to come back. 5 minuets later Kaname comes into the room and grabs my beach bag for me. "Are you ready to go?" He Asks me with a smirk. "Hell yeah!! You know I am!!" I yell excitedly.

We head out of the clinic to see the inside of the mansion. "Which part of the mansion are we in?" I ask while looking around. "We're in the hallway of my mansion the clinic is inside my mansion it's right next to the main hall. Then we have the ball room." He starts to say something else as I cut him off. "What's a ball room?" I ask while looking up at him. "It's a room where everyone, men dress in a suit or a tux and the woman wear beautiful dresses while music plays and everyone dances and drinks sometimes the person hosting the ball will want to give a speech. "Oh wow it sounds amazing." I say as I think back when I was little and would watch Cinderella. "Is it like Cinderella?" I ask Kaname. "No it's way more elegant than that movie there are rules for men and woman to follow. "What kind of rules?." "You'll find out when you attend a ball." He says as I frown at him. We head to his chambers, as we walk in we see Robert standing in silence. "What is it?" Kaname Asks Robert. "My king you never went to the werewolf meeting to have everyone sign a piece treaty." Robert says as my eyes go wide. "Oh crap I forgot!!" He exclaims. "My king you can just write them back and hope they can reschedule for a meeting." Robert says as they both leave the room. Leaving me alone.

Kaname's (POV)

I walk out of my chambers following Robert into my office as I sit down and write another letter to the werewolf pack 5 miles away.
"Dear alpha of the wolf pack I am writing this to you because I forgot about our meeting I was supposed to attend a couple of months ago I hope we can reschedule for another meeting for a piece treaty.
From the vampire king. I give the letter to Robert so he can mail it to them. I walk back to my chambers where I left Nora to find her not in the bedroom but I hear water running. "Nora?" I ask kind of hesitantly. "Yes?" She Asks from the bathroom. "I was just making sure that you were in here. "Ok I'll be out soon." She says as the water stops running and the bathroom door opens to reveal Nora in a black silk robe. "You look amazing" I complement her and she smiles at me as she crawls in the bed to snuggle beside me.
