The kitchen was already being burned before Jack smelled smoke. He saw light grey fog swirl around his ankles as he was dragged down the stairs. Mark ran to the kitchen and watched his house slowly burn down. The fire reached out for Mark.

"Mark!! What the eff are you doing? Get out of here!" Sean yelled over the rumble of flames. Mark looked at Jack with teary eyes, but did as he commanded. Sean watched Mark leave the house with the door open, but Mark stood in the doorframe and watched Jack. Sean looked around for anything to grab to alert we needed help. Sean ran upstairs, and scavenged at any corner for something that could reflect light or light up with the click of a button. Sweat dampened his hair as he threw everything around for something reflective. Sean heard the flames grow closer and louder by the minuet. Sean heard faint sound of sires come from somewhere, but he focused on finding something.

They arrived. Yet the fire was still burning, along with the building. Sean was still inside, and he started to feel lightheaded and was becoming covered in ashes. He threw unknown belongings into the fire, or on the edge to build some sort of wall for protection that will never happen.  Sean was being cornered, getting closer and closer to the roof. He had a prick of dread in his mind, beliving that this day is his last. He heard people screaming for him, but his voice was drowned out by the flames. He ran around in circles, looking for anything to escape. But everything was being burned. Sean heard the stream of water beat against the house. The fire was reaching him, literally cornering him. Sean pulled his legs up to his chest, hiding his head.

Mark ran around, asking anyone for help. He knew Sean was in there, being burned to a crisp, his own lover, dieing today. Mark held back from reaching for a ladder and jumping into a window. He could see Sean in his mind, scared, crying, begging to be in his arms. Mark wanted to scream out crying, but he kept his tears just in his eyes. Mark felt like he was helpless, like he could do nothing for his lover.

Sean rested his head on the wall. His vison was blury, and he could barely move anything. The house started to creak and the walls around him started to light on fire. The house creaked louder, and louder, and louder. Until the house crashed down into a pile of wood and metal. Sean felt pain surround his body, and he felt like his lungs were being crushed.

"Sean!" Mark screamed as he watched his house calapse. He ran into the pile of ashes and pulled away at any rubish and looked for his lover. His eyes poured out water, and he felt his lungs and throat on fire. He felt hands try and pull him back, but Mark pushed them away and kept looking for Sean.

Sean felt like he was flying. Flying in a dark void of nothing. He saw nothing, and felt nothing. He could hear his heartbeat.

Buh-bump Buh....bump buh....
