Mark said goodbye to his friends at 10:45. They hugged and spoke until they left the front room. Mark walked back into the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of whiskey and a shot glass. He poured himself a shot to the brim, brought the glass up to his lips and let the whiskey pour into his mouth and down his throat. He slammed the shot glass on the counter and hid the whiskey from anyone. He strolled over to the living room and dropped down onto the couch. He turned on the TV and watch the news channel. Soon enough, Mark's eyes were closed and he was fast asleep.
Jack stuffed his hoddie into his backpack. He zipped up his runaway prize possesion. He listened for snoreing before escaping. He snuck outside his room and down the creaky stairs and into the living room. Jack was headed towards the kitchen but the flashing lights of the TV caught his attention.

"Thnaks Jim. Now it's time for lost children section. Today we still have Ben Greever missing for five months now, and today we have a new person, Sean McLoughlin. Trever High School claims that he ran into the woods just after school ended Wednesday and hasn't returned. So now police are investigating the forest, and just recently they found a broken branch 10 miles into the forest. Reporters say that a hand saw and a zip up jacket was left. Reporters say the police found a trail leading off too deep into the woods. Be prepared if you live deep into the woods to be a suspect of holding the child. Thanks for tuning in."
Knock knock knock. Jack knows that noise anywhere. He saw Mark slowly rise from slumber, so he ran upstairs and his in the closet. He stopped breathing to feel his heart racing. Sean new it, he was going back home, and he's going to get beaten. He held his wrist and tightened his grip, letting his fingernails pierce his skin.
~Sean's Thoughts~
Why didn't I just leave the day he took me in? Why did I have to stay? I wouldn't be wanted. I should of just stayed in the woods. I would've been fine there. But now I'm here. I should show myself so I don't bother Mark. I'm safe but always have to be hidden here, but at home I'll get killed for trying to escape. But Mark doesn't care about me. No one should.
That was his final decision. Jack opened the closet and ran downstairs, threw Mark out of the way, and let the police drag him home.
