Ashton was a guy every girl wanted. I didn't understand why. Ashton was like every other guy, wasn't he? He played soccer actually he played really good. Ashton liked to date and he had girls all over him, but he would always say no which I didn't understand. I didn't know much about him I guess. I know he hangs out with the group that I hang out with. It's Luke, Michael, Calum, Sierra, Alex, Adrianna , Ashton and I. That was our little clique. We were just your average teenagers. Even though we played sports be weren't stuck up annoying ass kids. We listen to rock n roll music and went to concerts like Green Day, Blink-182, All Time Low etc. We would go over to one of our houses and watch Netflix and order pizza, very typical of us.
"Kelsey!" Adrianna says swatting my arm from under my chin that was holding me up.
"What?!" I say
"History is over." She says
"Oh shit I must have fell asleep."
I say looking around the room.
"Yeah let's go to our next class."
She says as we walk out.
We have English next. The worst class ever. I only say that because I'm not that great in English. My mom tells me I'm going to need to get a tutor, which I'm not too fond of. As we walk in all the kids are in the back of the class.
"Adrianna and Kelsey head to the back of the room we are getting new seats." He says we nod and walk towards the back of the room.
"Kyle, Christina, Daniel, Maria, in that first row." He says.
He must be making them boy girl.
"Max, Kelsey, Ashton, Adrianna that second row." He says.
"Isaac, Allison, Matt, Lily, please take your seats in the third row."
He says.
"Zachary, Amanda, Louis, Lydia, take your seats in the last row thank you." He says walking back to his desk.
"These will be your new seats for the rest or the quarter. For the rest of the class we are going to get to get to know one another like we did in the beginning of the school year and we will be doing this at the end of the year as well."
He speaks as he stands up from his desk and stands in from of the class room.
"Oh yes let me give your partners. The first and third person in each row look behind you that person will be your partner, simple? Yes. If you need anything I'll be at my desk." He states
Out if the corner of my eye I can see Ashton whisper something to Adrianna. I'm curious on what he told her.
"Kelsey can I ask you something?"
Max says turning around in his desk.
"What Max?" I ask
"Is Adrianna dating anyone?"
He asks nervously
"Um no actually." I say with a smirk because I know Adrianna really likes him.
"Could you hook me up with her? Or ask if she likes me? Please?"
He begs placing his hands in praying form.
"Okay okay chill out you look like a little girl." I joke
"Let's switch partners!"
He whispers
"What? We can't!" I say
"Come on please I want to get to know her ya know please." He begs
"Okay if you stop whining." I say
I tap on Ashton's shoulder. As he turns around.
"What?" He says with a harsh whispery tone.
"Can we switch partners? Please?" I ask
"Um sure. I guess. Adrianna."
He says
"Well not exactly. I need you to be my partner and Adrianna and Max to be partners." I say
"Oh okay." He nods now knowing what I meant by that.
As they quickly switched seats it looked like they were hitting it off quite good. Ashton and I went back and forth asking each other questions about ourselves.
"What's your favourite colour?"
He asks me I barely spoke to Ashton but was taken by surprise to here his thick Australian accent.
"Red. What's your favorite color?"
I ask
"Red is also my favourite colour." He says
"What's your favorite tv show?"
I ask pushing hair out of my face. My long bangs make it hard to keep them out of my stupid face.
"Family Guy. Here let me help you." He says pushing my hair behind my ear.
"Thanks. That's my favorite show too." I say and I know I'm starting to blush.
"You have really pretty eyes."
He says searching his head. I could tell his cheeks were getting pink.
"Thanks I like your hair." I say.
Ashton was an attractive guy like really attractive. I really liked his hair and his dimples when he smile.
"I like brown eyes." He says. Brown eyes are so common what makes my eyes any different.
"Brown eyes are so common though." I laugh silently
"I also like that." He says
"What my laugh? My laugh is gross and annoying." I joke even though I don't really like my laugh.
"Here." He hands me a piece of paper
"What's this?" I ask confused.
"Open it." He says.
"675-4557. Is this your number?"
I ask
"No it's a pizza shop. Yes its my number, text me sometime maybe." He says
I smile at his cheesy joke.
*RING RING RING*
"Okay class we may pick this up tomorrow." Mr. Gomez says
"I'm serious Kelsey." He says as we walk out of class.
"Okay Ashton." I say mocking when he said my name at the end of his sentence
Then we walk our separate ways and I meet up with Adrianna for her to tell me all about her and Max.
