~ Chapter 19 - What fun we had!! Part 3 ~

Last time:

"Ashy?" A familiar voice said as they put a hand on my shoulder. I turned around in shock at the familiar face as Deval growled at his presence.

"No way! What are you doing here-"

Now:

"No way! What are you doing here Aaron?!" I sputtered out in complete confusion with wide eyes.

He just gave me a chuckle. "What? Can't I just give you a greeting after 2 years of not seeing each other?", he smiled as I just laughed.

I took out the clip that was holding my hair and just clipped it into a lazy bun again.

"Are you still watching FMA? How many times have you re-watched it?" I chuckled as he laughed.

I noticed a little girl beside him. She looked up at me as I smiled warmly at her. She smiled back as I softly pat her head.

"Hello!", she smiled as I greeted her back. I noticed Deval trying to get out of my mind so I turned around and sighed.

'Just this once, okay?' I thought as he grunted.

'Whatever...' he replied.

I raised my hand up and he appeared.

Deval had black hair that he tied up into a pony tail. His blood red eyes that could scare anyone if he wanted to. He just wore a torn black suit that looked creepy. But he just wore bunny slippers.

Just kidding, he wore some normal shoes that were red. He grinned and started pulling me to the haunted house as I mouthed a plea of help to (Y/n), imitating a crying face as she just laughed at me.

I didn't want to look at Aaron because I realized he rarely talked to me. The last time he talked to me before today was 2 years ago. I felt betrayed we were supposed to be friends...

I felt tears trying to come out from the cracks of my eyes. I shook my head as Dev continued dragging me. I can't cry. No... I SHOULDN'T cry...

I looked away from Aaron and smiled at Dev. He grinned and pat my head as I pouted. Everyone laughed, but I didn't hear a person laugh, but I was surprised Aaron's little sister wasn't scared by him.

She ran after me, wanting to join us. "Wait for meeeee!" She cheered happily as everyone giggled at her happiness.

She jumped into my arms and I held her as Dev stopped dragging me.

"Do you want a piggyback ride?" I asked her, smiling as she nodded eagerly, her smile never leaving her face as I laughed.

I crouched down as she climbed onto my back, feeling her weight on my back. I held her thighs as she put her fist up in the air.

"Yayyyyy! Let's goooooo!" She cheered as I smiled.

~Dev's POV~

I couldn't help but smile at the little girl's enthusiasm. I had an idea. How about make her see higher?

The higher you fly, the more you see... ((If anyone gets this reference, I'll make the next chapter dedicated to them, and they can choose the story for next chapter! Hint: It's a dialogue line from a video game character!))

I grinned at the idea I thought of. I knew that I had a sinister smile on my face, judging from Ash's look. She shook her head side to side as the little one was busy looking around the amusement park, beaming I'm pure happiness.

I grinned as I threw her up in the air, her thighs on my shoulders. I heard a scream, actually, two screams, when I did that. I smiled up at Ash with an innocent smile on my face as she glared at me.

Blooky decided to join us, since he wanted to see the scares, but he seemed like he could not be fazed by it.

I couldn't help but wonder one thing...

What is this feeling??

~ (Y/n)'s POV~

((I'M SO SORRY I RARELY DO (Y/N)'S POV! I'VE BEEN SO FOCUSED ON CONTINUING IT, THAT I DIDN'T NOTICE! I'M SO SORRY!))

I couldn't help but laugh as Ash was dragged away by Dev. I couldn't help but wonder-

"Who's that?" Aaron asked out of nowhere. I knew his name since I can read Ash's mind to know his name.

"Oh, he's Deval Fault, he's a spirit stuck in Ash's head. He's been with her ever since she was born, so he probably knows how she felt, what she learned, how she draws, and how to do the exact same handwriting and art style as her." I explained.

He silently nodded as he continued staring into the place where Dev dragged Ash to. Probably the haunted house, I know him.

" If you're wondering where they're going, they're going to the haunted house." I chuckled as he nodded.

" Hey..." He started.

" What's wrong?" I asked, confused about the sudden greeting.

" How long has he been in her mind?" He asked, I could sense a dark tone in his voice.

" As I said, ever since she was born. He's like a split personality, but he can't take control of her. They're like siblings, according to Ash, but I don't know about Deval." I explained as he nodded.

" I'll go get some candy floss for my lil sis." He reminded me as I nodded.

" What's her name, anyways?"

" Oh, her name is Irithel." He answered nonchalantly. (( The name is a hint to one of the characters in the game! :3 But it's not the one I'm mentioning!! Hint #2: The character I'm mentioning, she can turn into a bird named Verri, the bird is her husbando.))

I nodded but a memory struck me in the head as he went to get some cotton candy.

" What's wrong (Y/n)??" Blue and Red asked me as I felt dizzy.

I could only see black spots taking over my vision before turning myself in to the power of sleep.

(( Basically fainting! X3 ))

~Ashy's POV~

I felt like someone threw a heavy brick to my head.  I endured it, since I don't want anyone worried.

However, Irithel noticed. " What's wrong Ash?" She asked. Yeah, I told her my name earlier and she told me hers. (( THE FOURTH WALL!!!!))

Anyways, back to present. I smiled at her and reassured her I was fine. She didn't believe me, but still smiled at me.

It was funny, seeing ourselves smile a each other, I don't know why.

A scream pierced through my thoughts.

It was hers.
