Annabeth's POV

"Help me carry the last box in. It's a light one." I tell Alexander and head up the steps. He follows behind me.

"Can I have a juice box?" Xander asks.

"Yes, it's in the cooler on the counter." He drops his box and runs into the kitchen.

I sigh and walk into the kitchen and grab a water from the cooler. I head to my new living room and sit down next to Alexander.

I rub his head. "How do you like the house?"

"I like it. When will we be unpacked?" He asks.

"Soon I hope." I smile. "Do you want to go swimming?"

"Yes!" He shrieks.

"Okay let's find your swim trunks." I stand up and go over to the front hall where all the boxes are. I find the one marked Alexander's clothes. I dig through the box until I come across a swim trunk like fabric. I pull it and it's the trunks.

I hand him the swim suit. "Go change." He runs to the bathroom. I gather up some sunscreen and towel and other necessities and put it all into a bag. I take my sunglasses and place them on my head.

"I'm ready!" He yells flying by me.

I laugh and pick him up. "Let's go." I set him down and grab the bag and my keys and head out the door. I buckle him in and drive to the neighborhood swimming pool.

When we head into the front building I have to sign in. The lady up front is really chatty.

"Oh you two are the Chase's I presume." Her name tag reads Charlotte.

"I'm Mrs. Annabeth Chase and my son is Alexander Jackson." I clear it up.

"Oh okay. So how are you liking the neighborhood?"

"Well we just finished moving everything in and I thought we could use a break." I finish signing the sheet she handed me. I hand it back to her.

"We offer swim lesson's here. How old is your son?" Charlotte asks.

"Four, almost five."

"Is he able to swim, because if not we have highly talented swim instructors who could help him." She smiles down at him.

"Thank you, but I think we won't be needing those lessons. Let's go Xander." We head out the pool door before she could respond. I head towards an empty table.

I set the bag down and take out the sunscreen and towel. "Mommy, do I really need the sunscreen?" He whines.

"No, but let's just put some on your face." I compromise with him. He really doesn't need it since he is Percy's child. Also if I don't put sunscreen on him, I look like a bad mother.

Once I've finished rubbing the lotion on his face he runs and jumps in the deep end of the pool. I sit back and watch him resurface. He looks at me and smiles then swims to the other end of the pool.

"Your boy is a very good swimmer." I look to my right to see the speaker. A lady with two kids sitting at her table and a baby in her arms.

"Yeah he is." I agree.

"How old is he?"

"Four, almost five."

"How did he learn so fast?" She questions. I would to if he wasn't my kid.

"I don't know honestly. He get's it from his father." I smile. If only she knew.

"He could go far in swimming. My oldest is on the local swim team. He has since he was about five."
