Looking Back

Hello lovelies! How is everyone? I've been busy this June so I'm sorry for not updating T^T. But hey! Heres a chappy for you so I hope you like it! Until then enjoy lovelies.

Lucy POV

We walked back to the mayor's office, I was still feeling uneasy but not as uneasy as when I came face to face with Salros. Though I was afraid I'm not anymore, it might be because of Laxus is next to me. He has that air around him that makes you feel safe. A comforting safe.

"Who was that back there?" Laxus asked me.

"Salros? Heh, he was an old enemy." I shrugged it off.

"What'd you mean 'an old enemy'?" Laxus retorted back to me, "well he's definitely not an old enemy so spill blondie."

I sighed, contemplating whether to tell him or not. "I fought him back when I was still freelancing and traveling around. He's got a bad reputation and all. One day I was on a job request and I encountered him" I paused, trying to remember a lot of the details I've forgotten. "The town I lived in didn't have a lot of mages, or strong mages for that fact. The town was a farming town, there aren't a lot people who practice magic. I lived there and the townspeople really trusted me in protecting them and their farms." Laxus listened to me as we kept walking, we were still in the forest and a longs way from the mayor's office.

"So anyways back to the request. I had came across him when I was walking to the requesters home. He didn't look like much but boy was he strong and dumb, haha like Natsu. So I walked passed him and he literally has such a big ego , not to mention he's a little narcissistic, that he went on a rampage. It was funny to be honest with you. He was telling me how I should watch where I was going and blah blah blah.....I didn't even bump into him!" I threw my hands up, "long story short we fought, I won, he was a sore loser about it, told me he wanted a redo and walked away."

We were now at the edge of the forest, walking to the entrance of town. The sun just below the horizon.  

"I guess he trained and gotten stronger." I sighed shrugging. Laxus looked at me and nodded.

"Well you don't know if he's gotten stronger yet, you haven't fought him." Laxus pointed out.

"Haha that's right, but I mean, he wants a redo. Plus he did say we'd meet again. We'll just have to see." By the time we were done taking we made it to the mayors house. After discussing with the mayor we collected the money and made our way back home.
