Why do I bother

Hey my lovelies! I'm sorry to keep you waiting on this update. Sophomore year of high school is hard let me tell you. I had a mental breakdown a few weeks back but I'm okay. So without further a do. Here ya go!

Lucys POV
Continuing our way to the village it was still pretty quiet, there wasn't much talking but the occasional fights between Natsu and Gray. I didn't pay much attention to their bickering, though when Erza made her presence it was a show worth watching.

Laxus's POV
I sat at the bar watching the clock, I don't usually do this and a certain white haired person made notice to it.

"Sooooooo....." Mira made a mischievous cat face.

"So what?" I grumbled, she smiled evilly.

"Why're you watching the clock so eagerly for Laxus?" She stared at me, she knows the answer already why should I even try?

"Mira, you already know don't you?" I sounded defeated, I practically was. You can't hide anything from Mira.

"ohohoho," She put her hand to her mouth "I doo" she sang the last part.

I sighed, got up and walked out the guild. Mira called after me saying that Lucy will be alright and then giggled. Sometimes she can be a pain in the ass. I walked around the shopping area since I didn't have anywhere else to be, but then an idea came to my mind. What if I get a present for Lucy....? Sigh, I don't have experience in these things. Now I regret calling Mira a pain in the ass.

Lucy's POV
We came across our last stretch of road before making it to the top.
"We could actually slide down the mountain, don't you think?" I giggled looking down over the slope.
"We could" Erza stood there contemplating.
"What're we waiting for then?" Gray jumped in the air and with his ice make magic made a sled. He sped down the mountain.
"That's not fair popsicle! You got a head start!" Nastu went flying down after Gray in a half cut log.
I shook my head in disapproval and looked over at Erza but she was gone. I looked down the hill and she was speeding down it too. She was on top of her wagon. I facepalmed.
"Welp." I sighed, I recuiped my roller blades and sped down after the three.
"What kind of a team am I on?" I chuckled to myself as I sped down the incline. The wind rushing through me. I skidded to the side and stopped where the three was waiting for me.
"Well wasn't that exciting?" Erza smiled closing her eyes in the process.
"Well not when pyro over here smashes into you and then thinks it's a good idea to barf right in front of you!"
Natsu lay in the log, his eyes made swirls and little gurgling sounds came from his stomach. He moaned in pain.
"Why'd we do that Happy?" The blue cat looked down at his pink haired friend.
"I don't know? But it was fun!" Happy put his paw in the air and smiled.
"Alright enough of that, the village should be a little ways down from this spot. Which means more walking." Erza theorized, She clasped her wagon handle and dragged it behind. The four of us following.

"So what'd you think this mission will be like? OOOOO what if I get a key for a reward!!?!?" I clasped my hands together, stars in my eyes.
"Why'd you want a key? Not like you can open anything with it." Natsu mentioned. He had a relaxed face.
"She wants one cause she's a celestial wizard and celestial wizards use keys to open a celestial being." Gray stepped in, hitting Natsu on the side of the head.
"Ooohhhh, so Lucy. Can we see one of your celestial being things?" Natsu asked.
"Sure, but first they're people too and second they have names."
I took out my pouch and chose carefully. Should I do my silver keys or my gold keys? It doesn't matter either way right?
"Open! Gate of the maiden! Virgo!" I chanted. There was a gold light and as it dimmed a girl in a maids outfit with pink hair appeared.
"You called princess?" She said.
"WOAH!" Natsu stood baffled at the sight, "that's so cool!"

"Thank you." I smiled, confidently.

"Is it punishment time?" Virgo eyed me, her eyes showed a pleading want.
"NO!"

"Wow Lucy I didn't know you were into that." Gray smirked, Natsu and happy laughed and Ezra....idk she was just looking at me.

I sighed at facepalmed. "You May go back now Virgo, I'll summon you when I actually need you. Thank you."

Virgo bowed and in a puff she was gone.

Why do I even bother?

Hey everyone!! I've been on a long hiatus I know but this is short and I promised I'd have a long chappy but things happened and I have midterms and I'm currently dying but I'm striving so we good. Anyways it'll probably be a long time before I update again but I'm glad I finished this chappy.
