Chapter 7

Jemma

It seems like this duel is going on so well. At least for the time being. It still amazes me that I get to team up with the legendary Yugi Moto, the King of Games, alongside my father and a Synchro duelist . 

I don't know if Dad would even remember this duel or the fact that I was involved with saving the world alongside him. 

All I can hope once Paradox is defeated, all of our timelines would be safe and everyone would enjoy playing Duel Monsters. 

I turn to Yugi and by the looks of it, I can tell that he has an idea of getting Stardust Dragon on our side. 

"Yugi, whatever you have planned , it better be a good one. Even though you have Dark Magician , I know you have another ace on your sleeve." I thought as looked at the determined duelist as I was worried about how we going to fight off Cyber End Stardust Dragon. 

 "I'm not going to stop there. Next, I would activate "Bond between Teacher and Student! Since I have Dark Magician on the field, I can summon his student , Dark Magician Girl in Defense mode!" 

I was amazed by her appearance, as she slides on her broomstick seems to be a little bit worried about this situation. 

"Oh, my. This is going to be a tough trick to go on top here, Master." 

Dark Magician seems to be calmer than her which I was amazed by him, "Yes, but remember, there isn't a trick that we can't pulled off. " 

"Right." 

Yugi

The only way for me to get Stardust Dragon back to our side is with a card that allows to switch the opponent's side on the field, and I knew exactly what to do. 

The girl seems to know that I have a plan for this to happen, as she nods with approval to continue my turn. 

"I now activate Magic Gate of Miracles! This card allows me to take control one of your monsters Paradox!" 

Paradox seems to grin at me as if he knew that I would do such a thing. "Oh, you really think so? I activate Malefic Force, which would stop you to preventing to get Malefic Paradox Dragon!" 

That was when I begin to smile, since he didn't know getting Malefic Paradox Dragon isn't my true objective. 

"Awe, who thought of getting your Malefic Paradox Dragon?" 

That was he realizes his mistake. "Wait you mean you're taking -" 

The spell took Cyber End Stardust Dragon as I said, "Yusei, Stardust Dragon is back where it belongs." 

Yusei's Stardust Dragon card appears to his hand as he breathes a sigh of relief that his ace card is safe. 

"Thanks, Yugi." He said. 

Jaden seems to realize of the plan I had all along. "Ha! You never wanted to get Malefic Paradox Dragon in the first place!" 

The girl places her hands to her hips, exclaiming, "What you expect from the King of Games?!? Yugi, I'm amazed that you actually pulled it off with a move like that!" 

I rubbed my head, seem to embarrassed of her comment, "Thanks, I think. Plus on the bright side, Malefic Paradox Dragon's effect wears off and our attack points go back to normal." 

The monsters were back to normal as the girl seems to be excited, "All right! We're still in this! " 

Professor Banner

I looked at the four young duelists battling. I was so amazed of how much they came so far in the duel. 

"It is hard to believe that they actually made it this far. I'm in the edge of my seat by just watching the match unfold! " I said. 

I knew that Paradox has other sneaky ideas to make the duel uneasy for them. I mean, the entire fate of Duel Monsters is resting on their shoulders right now.

"Jaden, I hope that you and your friends have some ideas of how to defeat Paradox."  I thought in my mind. 

Pharaoh meows in total agreement, seems to be nervous as I am of the outcome of the duel.   

Paradox

I begin to form a smile on my face, as if nothing has changed. My plan has falling into place, just like I knew it would be. 

These duelists claimed that Duel Monsters are for everyone, give me a break. It doesn't really matter to me anymore. 

As long that Duel Monsters no longer exists, my era would be saved from the plague of Duel Monsters forever! 

Yugi said, "I activate "Dark Magic Twin Burst, which allow both of my monsters to attack, by combing them together!" 

The girl seems to be shocked of this attack, "You mean that you combined Dark Magician's power to 4500 ATK? " 

Jaden said, turning to the girl, "You really know your Duel Monsters well.  Are you sure we haven't met before?"

The girl seems to be blushing , but remains silent as if she has no idea of how to reply to Jaden's question at the moment. 

"Go attack Malefic End Dragon!" 

As the attack ended, as Malefic End Dragon was destroyed, and I have 500 life points left. I smiled. 

Jemma

When Dad asks me about do we met before, I really don't want to mess up the timeline. If I had told him that I was his daughter, he would try to prevent me to continue the duel. 

I have to save all the timelines, Yusei's Era, Yugi's Era, and our Era. 

I was lost in thought then Yugi said, exclaiming to Paradox, "You lose, Paradox! You have 2 monsters while we have three." 

I turn to Yugi , "Yugi, don't underestimate him. I have this feeling that he has a trick up his sleeve, and it's going to be a shocker for all of us." 

Dad ask, "How could you be so sure, mystery girl? I mean, Yugi has the advantage here, isn't he?"

Yusei said, "She does have a point there. Paradox is one tough opponent that we ever faced, and everything we cared about is involved in this particular duel. " 

Paradox replies, "You really think that my turn is over? Loosing Malefic End Dragon is all part of my plan." 

Yusei, Yugi and Dad flex their wrists as I ask, "What you mean? You wanted to loose Malefic End Dragon in the first place?!?

What you up to, Paradox?"

Paradox said, "I activate Malefic Paradigm Shift" which allows me to summon Malefic Truth Dragon to the field, and I fuse with my monster!" 

When we saw the dragon, Dad said, "I have seen a lot of monsters , but this really eats the cake." 

Yugi groans, "I add two cards on the field and end my turn." 

I thought in my mind, "How in the world we going to defeat that?!?"
