Chapter 4

Jemma

We arrived at the center of the celebration of the anniversary of Duel Monsters. I have to admit, I never thought of saving the world of Duel Monsters in the past, and I would be fighting alongside my father, who had no idea of me being his daughter. 

"Man, this is going to be weird when I go back to my timeline, I bet that Dad wouldn't have any memories of this." I thought. 

Dad instructs Yubel to scare off the tourists with her powers, which I thought was a little bit uncalled for, but it seems to work. 

"Nice work of scaring them off, Yubel. Run, you're in grave danger!" Dad yells to the crowd, as Yugi said, seeming to understanding his idea, "Oh, I get it . 

If the people isn't around, the disaster wouldn't happen, and Pegasus would be safe from crushing into that building!" 

Yusei said, "That would get Paradox's attention, no doubt." 

Suddenly, the Duel Runner appears as it reveals to be Paradox .

I flex my wrists in anger as I gaze on the duelist. 

I step forward , "You have some nerve , to try to destroy the timeline. You will pay." 

Yusei said, "We know what you are planning to do, so don't take any chances of fooling us, Paradox." 

Paradox chuckles as he sees Yugi with us. "Ah, it seems like you brought the King of Games into this mess. 

How honorable ." 

" ' Honorable"? You killed my grandfather!" Yugi snaps in anger. 

"It was a risk I'm willing to take! Because where I'm from, my future was in ruins!" 

Yusei, Yugi and I were in total shock from what Paradox has told us. 

"If that is what your future is so terrible, why you go through all this trouble?" I demanded. 

"Because, you silly girl, I discovered of what cause my future to be in ruins, it's because of the game you love "Duel Monsters". 

Duel Monsters is a terrible disease and I couldn't bear it to see my future any second, so, I put on a mask and travel back in time, 

to destroy the disease of Duel Monsters once and for all!" 

Jaden

Geez, this guy doesn't get that Duel Monsters isn't all that evil. Sure there is some evil within all of us, but there is light.

Yusei said, "You honestly think of what you're actions? It's not that you're destroying the world of Duel Monsters, but everyone in it!" 

The girl nods, agreeing with Yusei, "Yeah, Duel Monsters are about having fun and enjoying the game.

There is no way I'm letting you get away with it, not with my friends by my side ." 

It seems like this girl has some courage within her, but I couldn't help feeling that I've known this girl my whole life. 

"Well, this would be quite interesting, how bout we settle this with a duel? " 

I couldn't handle my excitement, as Yubel said, "Take it easy, Jaden. This duel would be a lot tricky than what we used to back in Duel Academy." 

"Yubel, I will be careful, don't you worry about a thing." 

The girl said, "It's time to do this! It's time, time to get serious!" (This is Jemma's catchphrase, btw)

I grinned, "Paradox, get ready to get your game on!" 

"Your time crusade has come to compete end, Paradox, let's Rev it up!" 

Yugi

I was still mad of Paradox of trying to destroy Duel Monsters, I have to save the world, just like I did so many times. 

Yami appears next to me, seems to be aware of the tight situation 

"Yugi, out of all of our duels, this has to be the toughest." Yami said, in a serious tone. I knew what he meant. 

"Then, let's rise to the challenge." I replied, as I let the my Puzzle glow as I yelled "Yugioh!" and switch places with Yami. 

I knew that Paradox wouldn't see it coming , with the four of us, teaming up to save the world of Duel Monsters, nothing would stop us.

I just hope of Yusei, Jaden and the mysterious girl has what it takes of dealing with Duel Monsters.
