Chapter 11

Did I do something...wrong?

It seems like, ever since we returned from the hospital, he has been ignoring me. When I yelled at him for moving my stuff into his room without my consent he did.... nothing? Not a ; wink, cringe, burst of anger, nor even a single word came out of his mouth. I feel like a cold iceberg is building inside my chest and my Tiger is constantly making me feel in pain. All because of this stupid mark! I'm turning into a clingy little bi-

Almost robotically, he walked into OUR room and went into the bathroom, still ignoring my existence. Rolling my eyes, I jumped onto the king-sized bed with a groan. He could have at least warned me before he went into his 'man period'. Because honestly, I know were not the perfect set of mates but I can't help but feel rejected after our marking that bonded us together forever.

The bathroom door opened and I heard him sigh before he came over to my rigid and cold figure. He didn't touch me but I could feel his eyes drilling into my skull.

"What do you want?"

I received no reply except for the sudden tension that appeared in his shoulders after hearing my detached voice.

"I marked you and now my wolf is happy, so my job is done."

Hurt couldn't describe the way I was feeling. Matter of fact, I couldn't feel anything, I was numb. It wasn't until the full revelation hit me, that I finally let the news set in and found my heart cracking a little. Believe it or not, the big oaf has grown on me and if I would have known...

"WHAT DID YOU SAY TO HER!?"

Both of our heads snapped to the door as my eyes widened in disbelief.

"Sam?"

Ignoring me, he kept his eyes locked on Tautner's and waited for a response.

"Answer me Cole".

My mate puffed out his chest a little and tightened his hands into fists,

"I am your alpha, treat me with respect, Pup!"

Cole. I guess that was his name. Not as special as Tautner and it sounded kinda plain as well. Whatever, I guess he just couldn't be as cool as me;)

You could feel the tension literally, crack in the air as I was suddenly snatched into a pair of arms.

And it sure wasn't Cole's....
